ROADRUNNER RECORDS WELCOMES HATEBREED TO THE FAMILY

New York, NY - Roadrunner Records is proud to officially announce the
signing of Connecticut's HATEBREED to the label. The band, who
celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2005, land at Roadrunner following
the announcement of their 2006 Ozzfest participation and the release of
their exclusive track on Headbangers Ball: The Revenge.

Having worked with Roadrunner internationally for some time, Hatebreed,
a hardcore scene institution, are enthusiastically welcomed by
Roadrunner's US staff " Not only have HATEBREED been one of the most
influential bands of the past decade - there's no doubt that their best
days and most crushing music is ahead of them. It's a privilege to be
working with not only HATEBREED but also with Jamey Jasta, the very face
of aggressive music itself." says A&R man, Mike Gitter. Vocalist and
host of MTV2's Headbangers Ball show, Jamey Jasta says of the signing
"I speak for the whole band when I say that we are more than excited to
have our next album be released on Roadrunner Records worldwide. We are
all big fans of the label. We're proud that Roadrunner Records is the
new home for our music and message."

Hatebreed worked on this effort with longtime producer, Zeuss (Shadows
Fall, Terror), and mixer, Mike Frasier (Metallica, The Cult) on their
first Roadrunner Release, SUPREMACY, due to street on August 29th. The
band has spent the past decade clawing its way up the heavy metal ranks,
becoming one of the scene's best-selling metal bands, thanks to an Iron
Man work ethic, a busy tour schedule, and a seamless fusion of hardcore
and brutal metallic riffs. Says Jasta of the effort "We feel that our
new material is beyond anything we've ever done as far as ferocity and
pure adrenaline goes." He continues about the premiere Roadrunner
release "It is our most brutal and focused album to date while remaining
true to our hardcore roots. We've added more thrash, death and crossover
elements and have been able to keep the songs memorable and precise. To
me every song on this album is an anthem. Every song gives me chills and
makes me feel completely charged."

Ozzfest have tapped the band for the main stage this year. In previous
years, the band played and headlined the second stage. Bassist Chris
Beattie says of the Ozzfest opportunity "It's an honor and privilege for
us to asked to fill a main stage slot and we promise not to disappoint
any of our diehards out there! So buy your tickets now and get prepared
for the most intense riffing to date, see you this summer!"
Additionally, Hatebreed has enjoyed stints on the Warped Tour, and as
main support for Slayer on the Fall 2003 Jagermeister Tour. Headline
Hatebreed tours, including last November's anniversary tour, are
consistently packed to capacity.

Jasta's position at the helm of the Headbangers Ball TV show is just the
beginning of his MTV2 story. The first single off Roadrunner's MTV2
HEADBANGERS BALL: THE REVENGE is "To The Threshold," an exclusive
HATEBREED track created for the compilation. A video for the track was
directed by Dale Restighini (Trivium, Fallout Boy).

HATEBREED's SUPREMACY is due in stores 8/29/06 and MTV2's HEADBANGERS
BALL" THE REVENGE is out now!

I still like them, Rise of Brutality was good especially Doomsayer which they says their new album will have the "Doomsayer" feel. I think Hatebreed got a bad name because of "I Will Be Heard" being such a success with the jocks who go into the pit and as I always say think they're tough until they get cartwheeled in the face by a 100lbs. kid.

My guess is their contract might've ended or maybe they got out of it because of the pressure to sell more albums than god has followers. Road Runners gets upset when bands sell "only" 30,000 albums which Hatebreed will blow right past.
