you SHOULD be at Dee Dee's lounge, thats where i would be if i didnt make stupid promises...

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 7,2006 7:42pm
well, I'm not at DEE DEE's I'm at this show. I was thinking of heading to DD's afterwards, but I've got a head full of programming ideas and bug fixes to do at home so I'm probably just going home.

MARIAH CAREY?

toggletoggle post by Mary  at Apr 7,2006 7:50pm
Who cares about what show you're going to. Fix the damn search function on here, damn it!

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 7,2006 8:12pm
low blow: they were hardcore, but the set was short and I was dealing with my cameras to really pay attention to the band or take many pictures.

lockout, the: groovy hardcore. it got me thinking of righteous jams. I was super surprised to see/hear these guys. maybe ill check them out on myspace too.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 7,2006 8:19pm
mary: yes, that is on my list. plus fixing a ton of things. I'm going to probably have to deconstruct what other forums do or something

In Rememberance: they set ruled. Handz down. It didn't matter how many times they said they were sick. There were plenty of people that knew the songs that are on their myspace. though the set was (from what I could tell) the set they've been playing lately.

Yes your fixes...I found a ton of broken things...before u upload them though...I am going to test them first...
Ps you should be here with me and casey...tsk tsk...so far lighting is awesome

I only like one y.y.y. song.

qoute of the night "in dire need has been around long than some of you."
that quote should have been "in dire need has had more reunions then most people have years."

neon hookers, the: man, that singer's going to have no voice. The vocals remind me of outbreak, but the music isn't as spazzy. It was more straight up hadcore. Their shirts are the best too.. Well.. Until they get sued by hooters. Get em while they last.

what friends are for:
they took forever to set up. Then they started a song and the drummer kept playing the same part ove and over whie someone came and swapped out his kick drum. hilarious for the most part. I thought the starter jacket took the cake for the cherry on top of the humor. Um.. A lot of people moved around, but nobody got called faggots. that should have been a tip-off that this wasn't stars fell on.

I think the reviews you are sending me are funnier..

in dire need: quick set up. I think it was cause spam had a drum tech. Geez. They played like 4 songs. It was over really quickly. like insanely quickly. They have gotten much more into the groove since recording. It sounded good, at the end of their set, fish didn't fly, but various pieces of gear housing, water, and some sort of chip or cracker was thrown around by ryan. joey's vocals have come in really strongly in the low end.
No, I'm not trying to see every single IDN show ever. It just looks that way.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 8,2006 9:00pm
XStars Fell OnX: honestly, I always forget who's in this band until I see them and then I know. oh yeah. One of the guitar players from IDN is in this. Their set was a full on 10 minute southern trend-kill mosh out. The guys from IDN were crazy in the pile up. At the end of their set, the owner lady came running out and said the show was over and that everyone had to "get out"

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 8,2006 9:01pm
when_legends_die: even though the show was over, WLD had been sitting there for the whole show so they still set up. The lady said it was over, they asked for one song and she let them play it. The one song was actually a couple since they played for like 6-7 minutes. The sound wasn't very good, but everyone left just moshed their hearts out for them. I feel these guys (like a lot of the other bands), got screwed, but whatever. The girl running the show was crying for them to stop, but they finished up at 10:05PM. Someone from stars fell on tossed the church a $20 or something so they would stop wigging out. I heard the girl who had organized the show saying "next time won't be like this" to bands as they left."if you ever want to play here again"
