damn it, I was pissing outside next to the living room and some guy came out of the door I was pissing at so I pretended like I was just walking by. That meant I got some on me. Durp.

embrace the end: luckily, I got in to catch them. Their cd that I got from century media was really good and them being on the bill was sort of the major reaon I convinced myself to head down to this show. They sounded pretty good. I think the CD is a lot more massive sounding than their live send, but it was still cool to see them. they have two singers who kept tripping over each other.

righteous jams: they were added and I didn't even know it until I got there. Looking at the crowd, I could have guessed they were playing. The crowd looke very non-pvd. Their set was really short which sucked for the kids that came down just for them I'm sure. The audience did a lot of stage diving as you would imagine, but only during their old songs. During the new ones and the cover, people just stood around and head bobbed.

shit, i forgot about this. i still need to see the warriors, however, i think blacklisted is the most overrated band in hardcore

hmm that's possible. I kept myself from really listening to their CD that much cause of the hype, but...

blacklisted: I always get these guys confused wth the distance. their set was awesome. I was sort of afraid that rj would steal the show, but blacklisted may have just stolen it. I need to listen to their new CD a lot more. At the end of their set, the bassplayer broke a string so you can spot him in the audience jumping around. Also, most of db4d showed up too. I thought brian was going to jump on the mic, but it didn't happen.

I also just got told by the bouncer that I can't take any more pictures from the stage. It is completely lame of the person who told him. If I weren't typing my reviewlet at the time, I would have asked to talk to the person who told him that (im going to guess it's someone old, round, and bearded), but that bouncer's always been cool to me so my warriors pictures are going to suck.

warriors, the: the only song they played that I knew was the cure. This was the first tme I saw them. Their bass was f'n heavey. Much heavier in the breakdowns than even BYD. Musically, it mixed up rap-ish style singing, some slow parts, and a lot of heavy breakdowns. the sound was distictly west-coast. People in the audience went a little violently nuts for them. I saw one kid get beaten about his already swollen face by a guy who was flailing his arms back behind him. In the end, my pictures sucked. Mostly cause of the not-able-to-go-on-stage thing. Lame.
