Definitely popular, more for collecting the old records than picking up all the new stuff, but it seems like some newer labels are doing it too (Northern Heritage, etc).

i think they need to start releasing more albums on tapes. my car has a tape player and it's an ever so slight hassle to make tapes of my favorite CDs.

so that's my opinion until i get a CD player for my car.
