the subtitles in the opening are funny in the stupid way
My tenuous grasp on Japanese can tell you that the subtitlers exercised a little bit of creative license in their translations.

of cource he did.
It's funnier that way because it's damn near pointless to properly translate that show without wanting to bury your head in your hands.
May as well just make it like MXC.
