Chomsky is the balls, I just finished his book "What Uncle Sam Really Wants" - it deals mostly with the fact that we escorted nazi generals out of europe, and transplanted them in South America, shaping the oppression that we see today. It's also interesting to note that the only time a Latin American country modeled a form of government around democratic principles such as the "New Deal" (Guatamala), the CIA led a coup to overthrow the rebels, in order to preserve the old system. |

I'm re-reading the Culture Of Terrorism myself...good stuff, steal resources and oppress using violent militias. |

Yeah I wanted to get the Culture of Terrorism. Back when the Katrina shit was going down, someone on here called Chomsky "pigheaded" I thought that was great, since he bases all of his facts off of the actions of the government, researches harder than most journalists etc. The truth is a horrible reality. |
