This BLOWS!!! After I get paid Im close to broke within 8 or 9 days.Anyone else here get paid biweekly.Any suggestions on how to manage my money better?

i get paid weekly, but i would say take out what you know you'll absolutely need for pocket money - i usually give myself 20-40 dollars for the week - and put the rest in the bank. try leaving your credit/debit cards at home so when you want to blow money on something you really don't need, you won't have it. i know how you feel though, i always used to blow my money on CDs and band shirts etc... and i would always be short when i really needed something. i'm trying really hard to find ways to save more for myself and not buy stuff i don't need and save for more important things. going to college and having to work part time doesn't help either.

I do... um.. I don't know... the one good thing about it is you get 3 paychecks two months of the year.

I suggest making a monthly budget instead of a weekly one. that's what I do... I mean electricty is monthly, heat, mortgage/rent, car payments, etc...

I live at home and only pay $50 a week rent.That dont help me financially since I only work part time and make $11 an hour
