I'm looking for a band to record in the spring, starting sometime between February and March. This will be my final senior recording project for the Sound Recording Technology bachelors program at UMass Lowell. The school has great sounding rooms and really nice microphones and equipment.

I'm looking for a metal band, but it'd be extra great if your band uses blast beats, clean vocals, or acoustic instruments at sometime. If not, no problem.

Just email me at epiphone-71@cox.net asap.

Thanks,
Sean

I've recorded the Nicaea Room and Feed Us Fetus, but with every project I improve greatly so this recording will be leeps ahead of any examples you could hear.

I am very interested in this.

My band Pathogenic would be very interested in doing this. We do blasts, Gravity blast, and clean guitar parts. No clean vocals though, could never find anyone to quite fit the part singing regularly.

How many songs would you need?

Abhorred is doing a St. Vitus song there in Feb. : )

Hey sean, it's Kyle from school. Well.....i'm hoping this is the right sean i'm talking to. If not then....hey sean, my name is kyle. Seed would love to do it. you can hear our shit at www.myspace.com/seedmusic. And since a couple of us are right at UML, it will be pretty easy to do.

My band Of The Betrayed are interested learning more about the free recording sessions. I'd like to hear the newest examples of your work, what you use for equipment, and what tends to be your style of choice for recording. Our style of music we consider to be Progressive Metalcore. I much rather go into the studio with someone who knows metal and hardcore than someone who thinks bands like "Sevendust" and "Disturbed" are the heaviest bands out there. We're scheduled to record for February 5th with Damage Studio but we're still looking at other options so if you could get back to me as soon as possible that would be great.

Thanks,
Steve

Or you could like, not bark orders at him to prove he's cool enough to record your shitty band. way to come off as a huge dickhead to a totally awesome kid. If you took the 5 seconds to look up Umass Lowell youd realise thier recording studio is worth more than the lives of you and your whole extended family. second, he lists the bands hes recorded RIGHT THERE, look them up on myspace.

and on top of it, way to insult his caliber in music. sean listens to stuff that fucking smokes most of the shit out there - especially HEAVY AND PROGRESSIVE bands that list avenged sevenfold and deftones as an influence. wicked heavy guy. almost as heavy as pillows stuffed with gosling down.

sick chug patterns. stick with the 4 track in your basement.

I consider it to be complete trash. How dare you abuse the word Progressive when talking about your general riffs?! Fucking useless muzac.

1: I wasn't underminding the kid if it came out that way I'm sorry.
2: If you heard our music then that's older stuff, the riffs are more generic I agree but the new stuff isn't that's why we need to go back into recording.
3: I don't go to UMass Lowell so I don't know what they have.

I could care less really if you like it or not.
