the only reality shows I've watched are drawn together and the real work when they were in england (I think that was 96)

it works because the production costs are so comparatively low. tv/film are the most absolute bottom-line oriented media so that's all that matters..i just watch law&order reruns..

reality tv is anything but reality and should be taken off the air immediately.

that one show "going tribal" sounds pretty cool from what friends have told me (although i've never watched it). some dude goes around the world getting buddybuddy with indigenous tribes and ends up going through scarification rituals and hallucinogenic vision quests.

i think that would entertain me for an hour or so. as for the rest of reality tv, horseshit. all of it.

Along with Going Tribal, there's Dirty Jobs and Mythbusters that I like. Everything else is worthless.

Cops, Survivor, Big Brother, The Osbournes, Miami Ink, Amazing Race, Meet The Barkers, Viva La Bam, Inked, DOG - The Bounty Hunter, Temptation Island, The Restaurant, Jackass, etc... all very enjoyable, fuck the haters.
