I saw a pretty sick car accident this morning on route 3. I was wondering if anyone knew what happened. There were a few cars on the left of the road that were all smashed up, and then further up the road in the right lane there was what I THINK used to be a hummer. The thing was completely RIPPED off it's frame, and was crumpled up into a little ball. At first I thought it was the front of a tractor trailer rig, as the way the remains of the body were sitting on the frame it looked like one from far away. About 20 yards further up the road in the breakdown lane was one of those huge trailers used to transport cars, with one empty space on the very top tier.

I'm assuming that the hummer fell off the car carrier, but from there I can't even guess how it got so fucked or what happened to those other 3-4 cars. I've checked all the obvious news sites, couldn't find anything.

I would really like if you did not bring this up. My ex-wife was involved in the accident. She is in intensive care with severe internal injuries and bleeding. She may not make it through the night. I still love her so much.

Instead of telling me what and what not to bring up on a forum, you could easily have:
1) Just skipped the thread
or
2) Provided me with an answer to my question.

My condolences to your family member, I'm sorry to hear that anyone was hurt at all. From the scene, it really seemed like there was no serious injury. The hummer was unoccupied (I assume), and the passengers of the other cars were ambling about the median talking with officers.

What time did this accident happen? And where on route 3?

I fucking hate those hummers. I hope that ostentatious jerkoff is feeling great mushed up into pulp and dripping off his mangled H2 frame.
