From Blabbermouth.net:
Guitarist Rob Barrett has officially rejoined CANNIBAL CORPSE as a permanent replacement for guitarist Jack Owen, who left the band in 2004. Barrett, who played with the group from 1993 to 1997 and appeared on "The Bleeding" and "Vile" albums, has contributed a song to the band's upcoming tenth album, "Kill", due on March 21, 2006 via Metal Blade Records. The CD is being recorded at Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida with producer Erik Rutan (MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL).
With regards to the new album's musicial direction, the band had previously said, "We are doing everything we can to make sure it's the heaviest, most brutal one we've ever made."
CANNIBAL CORPSE have been utilizing session musicians for their recent touring activities, including Barrett and Jeremy Turner, who had previously played with ORIGIN. |

*sigh*
why don't people use the "news" flag. |
oops, sorry about that Aaron, my first time starting a thread of this nature, still kind of new to this. Wont happen again. |
Typically, when a mistake of this caliber is made, it is a tradition of the board that you either sacrifice yourself at the next NotCommon show or at the very least buy Reverend Aaron a six pack of Fruit of the Loom boxer shorts as a sort of peace offering. |
just don't get me boxer briefs... ak those suck. |
Did you get that Seed?
NO BOXER BRIEFS! |
Yes, i got it. But I am quite broke right now. But no fear Aaron, you shall have your boxers in the mail very soon. Any preference pertaining to colour? |
um.. I would like ones togo with the ones I'm wearing today.
I believe they have reigndeer on them. |
I'll see what i can do.
Holy shit, Rob Barrett is back in Cannibal Corpse! |

yeah how many death metal bands say that and still end up sounding as brutal as a piece of dried up dog shit on the ground. |
Are you really looking for an exact number or is that a rhetorical question? |
I think it's metaphorical.
like that dried up rat I once found outside the palladium after a cannibal corpse show. |
I'm wicked excited about Rob rejoining the CC group. His work on "The Bleeding" was phenomenal, and there's no doubt that the new album "kill" (gay name) will be awesome. Can't wait to see them tour next year to boot, been over a year since I saw them with Napalm Death, Kataklysm, and the all mighty Macabre. |

Or the run-over one found out side Box of Knives. Good ol' flat rat. |
