I am looking to sell my Triton LE with the following options:
Triton LE 61 key Music Workstation w/onboard Sequencer.
Sampler board (installed and fully functional) and an external SCSI CDRW/CDROM drive to load samples from.
64Mb memory installed for the sampler.
X Stand (basic one).
Korg Gig Bag.
All manuals I can dig up (should be all of them).
64mb and 128mb SmartMedia for loading/storing your samples after converting to a program for reloading.
Local sale only (mass/nh/ct/ri area) for $800.

Well, if/when sold I'll update the thread. We'll see how long it sits. I posted to a couple of yahoo groups I am in (mine and realmassachusettsmetal) to get more coverage. It works fine and I've been gigging with it.

are you serious? you can do just about anything with a triton! mustis from dimmu sounds like an orchestra when they play live and that's what he uses |

yes...i believe it has a sampler...meaning you could feasibly use/make any sound your heart desires |

It has the sampler option in it. That's the only expansion available for the LE and it isn't a bad synth for the money. Load a sample via the CDROM drive from an Akai sample disc (orchestral, sound fx, whatever you want) or load a wave file from SmartMedia and assign to a program, then create a combi via that program and another synth so you can do your rain/whatever + other voice. If you can afford a $2k+ synth go for it then. But this is a nice lower end synth.

I've seen Dimmu. That guy sounds like he pressed the orchestra button on a cheap synthesizer.

You should mention it to him anyways. You never know. I don't need to have a 76 or 88 as I don't play the entire keyboard and I just set up a switch for octave up or octave down if I need to get a lower or higher sound out of it at any given point.

Try Ebay man... I had a shitty synth (Yamaha s-30) and paid 600 for it, sold it for almost 600.... People would easily be paying more than 700 dollars for this synth. |

They won't get anywhere near that. On top of that the LE new is $900 (no added memory, accessories, sampler board either) and the new TR is $1000. I don't want to have to deal with shipping this via Ebay sale. I can't get rid of the other items for it as no boxes and a pain to package up. I want a local sale. If noone buys I'll end up keeping it but still be looking to sell it. THinking of selling the Roland V-Synth possibly too.
