The Black Dahlia Murder had to drop off the Soilent Green tour due to personal reasons. I have already seen and heard some rumors that the band split up but The Black Dahlia Murder have NOT broken up!!! They are back home and preparing for the Arch Enemy tour. More information soon to follow.

A total remake of the site has been made as you obviously noticed. (this is the version 1.0 I might add)
Non-black??? Have they gone totally disco?? Relax... Wait ´til you see the P13 artwork from where I have ripped the main layout pics from, and you will fucking explode! This is fucking beautiful serious horror art made by the amazing Locust Constructions team.
A lot of stuff has happened since the last update. I'm sure you guessed it right that we have been busy as hell.
First of all let me start by saying that the album is all done. ALL done. It's out of our hands now. Why does it take such a long time??? Well boyz and girls---- Lemme tell you a cool thing!!!! We did two separate versions of Possessed 13. You're saying "wha?" The thing is this: Possessed 13 will be released as a limited edition thing first, as a double CD Digipack, and with different (but related) artwork. We call this limited edition CD the "deluxe" version. And at this point all I can promise you is that this one will be released in Europe. I hope for the rest of the world as well, but so far I've only got confirmation for Europe. It's up to the Metal Blade chiefs...

KING'S X TO PLAY KLOL, HOUSTON'S 33RD BIRTHDAY BASH!
As a last minute addition, King's X will be opening up for Sammy Hagar at Houston Rock Radio Station, KLOL, and 101.1 FM's 33rd Birthday Bash. KLOL would like to extend their appreciation to their hometown boys helping them out when they needed them. They've had a good relationship with them for over 10 years and are really excited that they will be a part of the celebration.

The KLOL 33rd Birthday Bash will take place this Friday, August 8th at the Woodlands in Houston.

VADER plays in front of 400,000 of people!!!
400,000 people participated in Vader's excellent show at Polish Woodstock! The response was simply fantastic and we'd like to say thanks to the organizers and all the band's maniacs. To see pictures of the fest check out the Vader website.

Vader will play for maniacs coming from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Hungary and Poland among others. The opening acts are best Ukrainian bands: Mental Demise, Fleshgore, Castrum and Sknil-Off. FALCONER have finished the recordings for their third album "The Sceptre Of Deception"! Here's the news we just got from main man Stefan Weinerhall:

"This album is a concept album about greed, falseness and megalomania in the 13 hundreds in Sweden. It is based upon a true story. Actually, a concept album to me is always a bit hard to listen to and sort of strange with all those short "who cares songs" between the real ones. This one is not like that, but is a normal FALCONER album with some more variations and unexpected turns.
Well, the fact that we've changed the singer makes it not 100% a "normal" FALCONER album. I can promise a lot of guest appearances and that alone makes the album more varied.
We are so very satisfied with the album since the last year has brought so many new things to the band like more members, live gigs and the feeling of "a real band". Now we can't wait to get the album out and get out there and promote it live!"

LIZZY BORDEN'S GUITAR SEARCH CONTINUES...
Recording has begun on Lizzy Borden's eighth album; Lizzy and the boys are blasting through the follow up to 2000's critically and fan acclaimed Deal with the Devil. The new Lizzy record is said to be a "straight-a-head balls out high energy hard rock album". The as yet untitled release will be out early next year with an extensive world tour to be announced shortly thereafter.
Never stagnate, Lizzy's search for a replacement guitar player continues. The response to the initial notice was overwhelming! Lizzy reviewed each and every entry himself. Talking from his Los Angeles based studio, Lizzy gave this update on the search for a new axe man. "There has been some very well known guitarist who sent in their stuff as well as some soon-to-be-known gems. I want to thank all of the players who sent in packages. Most of you we're amazing! But at this point the slot has NOT been filled. I'm looking for more of a ROCK guitarist rather then a shredder. Someone that would be comfortable screeching out AC/DC type riffs or some old Aerosmith or even some early Kiss! That's the kind of player that would fit in well with the style of the new record." Lizzy also added that fans will be happy with the latest Lizzy Borden offering. "The sound of the new material is fresh but it doesn't forget where the music started. Your gonna love it!"
