New site? Maybe some day.

I've been waiting fucing for ever for them to put out an LTD with no shitty ass floyd.... Jesus I hate those things. Especially the liscensed ones. |
Yeah man, if that had a floating trem, I would dig it. However I abuse my whammy bar way to much to have a fixed trem. It is purty though. |
They make a version with a floyd, but it's kindof a gross aqua color currently. |

liscensed ones are definetly shitty I'll give you that. I don't have to tune in between songs like most guitarists with no trems do.
I do want to get one nice guitar with no floyd so I can tune it all over the place. |

the MH-400, yeah...
my ltd-mh300 when it first arrived last year...
This guitar was perfectly in tune right out of the factory sealed box (from Japan to ca, than CA to detroit, than CN, RI, and finally MA) so it holds tuning pretty well. lots of lower end fixed bridges need constant retuning, but with high end grover tuners, an earvana compensating nut, and gotoh bridge it's not slipping at all.
I do plan on getting a hipshot (I tune to D standard) so I can drop down to Drop C. That will probably throw my tuning off a little, but a Dtuna on a floyd would do the same.
The only trem I would ever buy is a kahler. |
floyd original = what I have on my RR1, I can yank the fuck out of it and it never comes out of tune.
floyd pro = awesome, easier to maintain than an original
ibanez edge = I only have an edge II but it's definetly better than any liscensed floyd ever. The real EDGE trem's must be great! |
Is that MH300 a flamed maple version?
If it is, your a son of a bitch. I want a trans red horizon with a flamed maple top so bad. If it had a blade switch, an string thru body, and active pickups I would be all over that.
There aren't any flamed MHs with fixed bridges though offered in the states... I'd need to find an australian dealer that would order me one from japan and send it here in order to get one. |
Never owned an ibanez edge, but had one of thier zero resistance trems on my old guitar, it was much better than ESPs liscensed floyds. |

yep it is
I thought they stopped making the flamed maple MH guitars a while ago, mine was mint from 2000...someone definetly kept it in the case for a long ass time. I dropped an 81 in it and it's awesome except for the liscensed floyd which may have to be replaced with a real one someday. |
yea, they changed all of the MH models from flame to quilt after 2002 and added 1s to the model names. |
they did stop making the flame maple on those. i think 2001 was the last year for flamed mhs. now they are all quilts.
this does nothing for me with passives and a floyd. but congrats regardless. |
RA, do you know if that's a see-thru red or see-thru black cherry finish? |

I wanna say see thru black cherry. |
its see thru black cherry. |
Thought so.
hopefully they will expand the color choices of the MH400s in the near future, because I don't just want to buy another black one, and I looked into getting it painted and that doesn't look like a realistic goal. |
esp just needs to expand their color choises in general, along with pickup choices (although unlikely, just a simple duncan/emg option would be nice).
i would shit my pants if i could get the opportunity to own a white ec-1000. with a floyd? the world would end. |

I don't like how the 1000's have that goddy pearloid binding on the face of the guitar, it's too much for me. |
It's unlikely that they would ever do a white EC with a floyd.
If they can't mass produce and sell 50,000 of them, they probably won't make them. |
very true. floyds just dont sell these days. WHATS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? |
well, I have to admit, floyd on LP shaped guitars looks pretty wierd. |
and when you say wierd you mean pretty freaking awesome. |
They look good on a flat top LP, but not an arch top in my opinion.
a white flat top Eclipse with blacked out hardware and a black floyd would look pretty nice. |
I like floyds better than Kahlers for some reason. Kahlers are easier to deal with and seem superior but Floyds just have a better feel for me. Kahlers seem too rigid. Years ago I wanted either a les paul custom or a jackson with a floyd....
I was psyched to find this beast. |
I don't like how low the floyds sit to the body, it makes palm muting wierd to me. |
Awesome....my main guitar is an M-302, I also own an MH-301 that I am selling if anyone is interested....Both are black, flame tops.
Powerkok also plays an MH-300.
Best guitars for the money anywhere....hands down. |
i'm still partial to mine |
Hoser, you have any pics of that 301? How much do you want for it?
On a side note, someone should serriusly buy my KKV so I'll have enough money to buy a second one of these. |
