1. Backstabbers Inc. and Asschapel THIS FRIDAY!
2. Tides T-shirts
3. Status of upcoming releases
4. I'm goin on tour!

1. Friday Oct 21st: Backstabbers Inc, Asschapel, Raw Radar War, Send More Cops @ Mass Art Room 171N, 621 Huntington Ave, Boston. $6, 6:30PM

-Backstabbers Inc.
I joined this band on drums a few months ago, though they've been playing for years and years now. The other dudes are from NH and we rock super angry, intense grind/crust/hardcore. Here's what myspace has to say: "In a time when so many are selling style over substance, Backstabbers Inc are here to burn it to the ground. You will find no cheap danceable rhythms, no empty anthems, and no fist-fighting mosh parts here. There is no petty narcissism, and very little entertainment value tucked neatly away. This is not escapism, this is power, and beauty, and ugliness. "

-Asschapel
This band play raging, ripping, all consuming, crust/metal. They hail from Nashville, Tennessee and their most recent claim to fame is the fact that Mazda used one of their songs in a pilot for a car commercial which you can see here: http://www.obeliskny.com/html/VIDEO_PAGES/PHANTASM.html

-Raw Radar War
Featuring Jonah from Traktor 7 records this is most likely Raw Radar War's first local all ages show in some time. Usually haunting O'brians and the like, I'm really really psyched to get these dudes and their down tuned sludgy hardcore in front of some young spunky kids.

-Send More Cops
Punks playing ultra fast thrash/crust. They are a ton of fun live and are mostly a "basement" band around these parts. To quote Ben Sisto (name drop!), "I predict dancing most likely in the shape of a circle".

This show is also going to be a sort of Pre-party for the "New England Shrieks Horror Film Festival" which is going on the next night in the same room. We're going to try and show some short horror films in between bands to give kids a taste of what is in store at the NESHFF (!). http://www.newenglandhorrorfest.anewlanguage.org/ for more info on that.

2. Tides T-Shirts
You can now buy Tides shirts direct from the TDB website. Go to the order section and scroll down. There's pictures of both shirts and you have the choice of Brown or Black (the black design is sweat shop free). www.TDBRecords.com

3. Status of upcoming releases

TDB 006: As long as we're all living, we're all dying/The hound 7": I have the records but still no artwork! I'm going to try as hard as I can to have this ready to mail out by the end of the week. Mp3s from both parties can be found on www.TDBRecords.com in the Bands section.

TDB 007: Draw Blood "Rowdyism" 7": Due to normal delays in the pressing process this wont be out till mid November (sorry!). An mp3 from the record can be found here: http://www.tdbrecords.com/DrawBlood/mp3/DrawBlood-HeyNeighbor.mp3

TDB 008: Tides - untitled EP (!): You heard it here first folks, TDB is slated to release the next Tides CD, a 3 song 20 minute EP of new material. If you liked what you heard on Resurface, then this is going to bash your skull in. I am aiming to have this out before December. You can hear one of the three new tracks on the bands myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/tidesrites

TDB 009: Fruit Salad 7": The band is most likely going to enter the studio to record this opus sometime in November or early December.

4. I'm goin on tour!
I'm going on tour with Backstabbers Inc. and won't have as much time to answer emails, do mail order and all that other record label stuff. This in mind, PLEASE bare with me! I obviously have a lot of stuff coming up so even if the website isn't being updated all the time, that doesn't mean shit isn't going on! Anyway, I'll be back at the end of November and I'll be pretty hard to find until then. If you need to reach me about a mail order question or anything else thats important and time sensitive, write me an email at Jonah@tdbrecords.com and put URGENT in the subject line. Thanks for everything, I'll see ya'll when I get home. DIY or DIE. Yeah boyee.
