CREOZOTH features guitarist Lars Johansson and drummer Jan Lindh of doom-metal megaforce
Candlemass. Vocalist Michael Storck (X-PLODE, Yngwie Malmsteen) and bassist Tobbe Moen
(ex-REDFUN, OZ) round out the lineup. The meaning behind the term “Creozoth” has a
fictional origin: “It is about a man who eats so much that he explodes in a Monthy
Python movie… it is also a 12000 year old plant that lives in the American desert, and
also a deadly poison that killed many railway workers…” according to Lars. Based in
Stockholm, Sweden, Creozoth has been working together for 2 years and are fully prepared
to unleash their self-titled debut on the world.
