I'm at the DCU center walking arounf. This place is filled with a pluthora of people that probably haven't left their parents basement since the last rock and shock last year, ho-geared goths, and the macabre metal horror scum of the earth (said as a complement). There are tons of booths with horror actors, actresses, writers, directors, and probably extras. A lot of the other booths are any think from jeremy saffer doing horror makeup to dvd distros (traums's here) to tattooing to the nightmare before time dolls. There is a guy here dressed as a leatherface type character, some guys in tiolfoil gwar outfits, but I have yet to see the obligatory bride dripping with blood. I'm about to walk around and take pictures yet I have no clue what to file them under... Randomshots just might not be the right place.. So I may label them "rock and shock". Still deciding.

It's $14 tonight for just the show and probably $14-20 tomorrow. no one in the box office knew for tomorrow night.

the DCU center part would have been cooler if I had got to watch the movies. anyone realing this who is going to that I took some pictures of george ramerez, one of the gwar dude out of costume, and Ashley Laurence (Kirsty in the hellraiser movies. Hellraiser was the first gore movie I saw beyond the jason/freddy franchise).

zombie apocalypse: they were much better this time. That's definitly the guitarist from shai hulud in this band. They have two singers. One of them kept getting off the stage only to realize that his mic chord was mega short.

Mensrea: they had some good parts, but over all were kind of like devildriver. The crowd really seemed to like them there was a lot of mosh, but the singer never came down into the crowd. I have a feeling this band was/will be a jager band.

a dozen furies: they ran around A LOT. I swear they were like a freaking wireless technology's ad campaign or something. For some reason, they flipped the crowd off like a million times and spat at each other a lot. I like their CD (except the clean singing) so they were pretty good live, when I wasn't dodging lungies.

The crowd here is werid... Normally, I know or recognize a large number of the kids in the crowd... But I'm guess this is cause people I know will only be here for gwar/turbonegro.

so the deadites seemed to be ultra uber super duper hated by the crowd. Their set was a volley of middle fingers and chants from the crowd. It was painfully hilarious to watch since their music is an electro-train wreck. Besides "i think they like us" the singer said "i will rape you" and "i will fuck you face" to one member of the audience. someone in the crowd then tossed a 1/2 full trash can over the barricade. This is the first time that security had to come down to keep people from rushing the stage and killing the band. I think they ended the set early, with the singers outro of the song "i started a joke... Blahblhblah" and then called everyone faggots. I think one of the keyboardishs snagged his keys and bolted before the set was over so he woudnt get yanked by people in the crowd.

Syliva told me that they presented romero with a guitar that one of the tattoo artists airbrushed..did you get pics of that aaron? It was on stage at the palladiumm I forget the time she said that they did it...btwn 5 and 6...

early man: after that deadites debocle, they came and "got things on the right track". Sounding a lot like megadeth, they did bring it back. It was pretty decent music. They seemed a bit anal, tuning for a super long time and tuning in between most songs. I've never heard their CDs, but I have a feeling that I would find them boring. I guess we'll see. Oh, they are from new york.

My best pictures of the night and its from devil driver?!? did they just say they have a song called grimfuck? this is the first time I've seen them arund here and the drummer wasn't wearing a SBC shirt. I'm wondering how long til dez mentions the fact that the guitar player was from mass. Whoah... Just as I typed that he said that everyone but him is from mass... I'm thinking mass is die kindergarten von Metalgrouppe im Wald. Like you aren't a creditble band unless you have a member from mass. He's now introducing the "home town mother fuckers". The one good thing is that the music is up so loud that you can't hear the vocals. damn... The kick drum is hitting so hard and is turned up so loud that everything is rattling in this venue.

turbonegro: ok, I know I have yet to see judas priest live, but this is the most overtly gay think I have ever witnessed in my life. They talked about your bestfriend turning to you and coming out of the closet. They also have more make on themselves than the entire front row or a bleeding through show. The music is pretty good. their set started off with a midget coming out dressed like the singer. The singer got the crowd to say "i want to be wasted again" in norweigan... They also threw out tons of $1,$2, and $3 with the band members faces on them. They also talked about cannibal holocaust and that it's a real documentary.
and the grand finaly? ballons. lots and lots of ranbow colord balloons.

i decided to crowdsurf on gwars last song and some asswipe grabbed my wang and squeezed it as hard as posible, i thought it was going to fall off

DCU thing was kinda weak. Drank in my car till Turbonegro went on. First time hearing/seeing them, like them a lot. Had a little Gwar singalong with Dave Brockie before they went on, up there on the "coolest moments of my life" list. Gwar fucking owned. One of the best sets they've put together. Hearing Baby Raper and Wharghoul live is fucking outstanding. Driving in that weather is horrible, especially whith a lot of Jager in you. Awesome fucking night.

gwar: I totally wrapped up my camera while waiting the 45 minutes for them to get on. The wrap worked 100%. I just had to look out for things. There were a bunch of people on the side that ran out after all the juices stopped to shoot pictures. Anyhow, they killed a ton of people so if you go to the picture of the setlist, you can see who they killed. I was in the front for the pope, bush and dick cheney.
I went upstairs and watched micko and some dinosaur thing get killed.

You forgot to mention that they played Warghoul and Baby Raper. One of the best sets I've seen them play.
