the 2005 fest in July was awesome. I guess Joe just started to plan the 2006 fest (which I guess may or may not take place in New England). There's only one problem. Some guy in Maryland loved the idea of a Doom & Grind fest so much that he decided to book his own under the same name and on the same days. Classy. He already has a couple bands that Joe had a play his fest a couple months ago. |

I believe he's calling it the Maryland Doom & Grind fest. Obviously Joe will drop the "New England" portion of the name if it's no longer in New England. I just think it's a little shitty that someone is booking the same show, with the same idea, with pretty much the same name on the exact same days that his fest takes place. A lot of the people that came to that show were from out of state. |

Not yet I don't think. There's only an email address. And one of the confirmed local bands started a myspace group. That's about it so far. |

well Joe's last fest was on the 7/16 & 7/17. The weekend right in the middle of July. I believe his future fests were also going to be on this same weekend. This guy in Maryland is doing the same thing. |

His myspace said he started this fest idea because he thought the Maryland Death Fest didn't have enough sludge bands. |
