I have been pissed at yahoomail.com since they stopped allowing pop access so I looked to the open source community. If you want to be able to get your yahoomail into outlook express, go here:

download and install that program.
then in outlook Express, add a new account
SMTP ADDRESS: 127.0.0.1
POP ADDRESS: 127.0.0.1
and then put in your yahoo account info.

how it works:
it acts as a translator between the web-based email and your outlook/eudora/etc.

I suggest going into it's preferences and choosing "start when windows does" and "quiet mode"
