Got me and my girl in the list courtesy of Bo and Nevermore...$70.00 would have been yucky.

Nevermore: Walked in just as they were playing Seven Tongues of God. The mix was for them was the best of the night. Both Loomis and Steve were spot on. Any other time I've heard krank amps they sounded horrible, not too bad for nevermore though... Tracks they played: Seven Tongues of God, Enemies of Reality, The River Dragon has Come, This Godless Endevor.

Dillinger Escape Plan: Been a while since I've seen them live. They still put on a pretty good show minus fire blowing. They played a poppy track halfway through that was pretty boring.

Fear Factory: Took forever to setup, they put on 4 ampeg bass cabs and amps, and they only used one. The guitar amps were all Kranks, he had 4 full stacks and none of them were on. Kind of funny actually, the tone was okay not sure if he was using all rack, or what. I was actually pretty bored during their entire set. I'm watching mortal combat on tv as I'm typing this and Johnny Cage just faught Scorpion with Fear Factory in the background. Wierd.

Dream Theater: I'm sort of a fan, but not enough to pay the ridiculous price to see them live when they come to boston. This was their 1st time ever in Maine. They came out and played a bunch of new shit that sucked. John's guitar wasn't loud enough for the rest of the show. It looked like he was trying to be Dave Navarro, except that he wasn't having fun playing at all. Labrie's vocals were not out of key like I've heard in live video's, but still obnoxious sometimes. Portnoy is just too tight, it looks like everything is so easy for him. He has fun and spits a lot though so it's all good.

Megadeth: I first got into them when I was in 5th or 6th grade. Sorta grew out of them soon after. They came out with some pyro stuff. Mustaine's guitar wasn't loud enough unfortunately. We left after about 5 songs.

Apparently you were suppose to get a bracelet to see the other bands down the street at the State Theatre. (Symph X, Life of Agony, other crap) but we didn't bother grabbing one. Luckily Nevermore was moved to the main stage so we didn't have to go. Overall it was a good show, and a good idea to have all these bands play together.
