Eh, I'd go see it just for Meshuggah and God Dethroned, don't know if I can suffer the rest.

Metalcore deserves all the shit it gets, but Thine Eyes Bleed are pretty intense live. That probably won't translate at the Palladium though. Nightrage would be interesting if Lindberg were still with them.

epoch of unlight is there too. they'd definitely be worth seeing.

There's nothing even extreme bout those bands!!! God Dethroned is the only one I'd be interested in seeing.

Nightrage is decent, but still to me this bill is purely about MESHUGGAH. I would consider meshuggah extreme, they've set a pretty high bar with albums that came out in the 90's. DEI, Contradictions Collapse, None, Chaosphere. Ridiculous rhythm that most metal bands still can't compete with. Extreme doesn't have to be fast all the time and if you think it does, listen to chaosphere.

I don't get the fuss about Meshuggah. Almost every song I've heard of theirs is basically one or two notes over and over again, in some relatively odd time signature.

Nightrage are pretty damn cool, as are God Dethroned, Epoch of Unlight, and Byzantine
