a friend and I are starting/already started up an alt metal band, and we're looking for a bassist. I geuss the best comparison to what we're aiming for is opethish stuff, but what we have so far doesnt sound a whole lot like it. we just got sick of normal metal in general and wanted to do something different.

We're both ex-pathogenic, and my friend is also the new drummer for shroud of bereavement. a possibility we'll be getting one of his friends to do vocals, she sings pretty well and likes this stuff, and theres also a possibility that Mark of Shroud would play guitar for us too.
