"Reborn" (view cover here http://www.scarabcart.com/shop/stryper/images/reborn.jpg ) is scheduled for release on August 16 via Big3 Records.

"Reborn" marks STRYPER's first complete studio release of original material in over a decade, since 1990's "Against the Law", and features 10 original tracks marked by STRYPER's trademark blend of melodic vocals, heavy guitar licks and pounding drums, as well a new version of the previously released track "In God We Trust". The album was recorded in Massachussetts at Blue Jay Studio, Mixed Emotions, and singer Michael Sweet's home studio. Big3 Records will also release a STRYPER DVD, packed with live footage and special features, by the end of the year.

Original STRYPER members Michael Sweet (lead vocals, guitar), Oz Fox (lead guitar), Robert Sweet (drums) recently announced the addition of Tracy Ferrie (bass) to the band.

you didn't go to the doom & grind fest... you have no authority on this board you giant pussy

it's funny but Michael Sweet owns and runs a cranberry bog down here on the Cape. When I ran a cell phone booth in the mall he would always walk around and NOONE recognized him!

for as religious as they are, Michael Sweet is a really cool guy, I met him while I was working at superdups, he was pressing his solo project and he's good friends with the owner of Superdups.

slayer were huge stryper fans in the 80s, they wanted to play with them but they knew their fans would kill strypers fans. stryper rules and have wicked metal riffs. i refused to believe it until i saw the light...figuratively speaking.

ill be there, YELLOW AND BLACK ATTACK.

also, i went to some gay fireworks show that had michael sweet sing the national anthem and his voice really does sound EXACTLY the same.

Micheal Sweet has a gross amount of vocal talent.
