i am moving to turners falls to go to school, does that town/area suck balls? is there any place close that has good shows? and is it a bunch of touch holes that live there? any help would be appreciated..thanks

So it's near a lot of college towns, Amherst, Northampton, Springfield. The Greenfield area is down the street from Sunderland where I used to live. It depends on what you want man, there are a lot of game stores there and stuff to keep you busy if you are into that. But that whole area is still pretty much the boondocks. Diners, and college guys/girls a brief ride away...and there was a duality to that last sentence. Find it.

Turners Falls is "ok". It's cheap to live there but there isn't much of anything there. I've lived in Greenfield before. It's pretty decent. It has everything you need there, pretty much. Northampton is only 15 mins away on 91. And people have already mentioned Amherst. Hadley has a mall and a good movie theater. If you're into BBQ, check out Bub's BBQ in Sunderland. That place rocks. Western Mass isn't bad at all. You may have to do more driving out there but the people are cool and the cost of living is lower(except in the Amherst/Noho area).
