New site? Maybe some day.
Purchased new in 2000, always covered during transport. No tears anywhere except for the bottom and those were glued back down. There were a couple tears in the grill but they have been sewn shut with fishing line. Casters still work great. GT75's, thing sounds sick with my ENGL, but I want a Straight to put below the VHT.
Looking for a TRADE only. 1960B possibly.
velcro'ed upsidedowncross included ;) |
I'm also going to sell my DSL100 with OEI transformer and ATA case for about a grand if anyone is interested. Marshall jacked the price of these things up to like $1400 new. Mine is in mint condition. |

how much are you looking for that? if it's in my price range, I'll seriously consider it...
although I'd rather your Engl & Necrophagist sweatshirt HAHAHAHA |
for you, I think I'd give it to you for about $950 w/ case. It currently has GTE34LS's and GT12ax7's which were changed in 2003, but believe me it hasn't been used enough for those to be changed. I haven't even touched it since october 2004.
hmm... I'll seriously consider it. that's almost too good to pass up. lemme see what goes on over the next couple of days, I've got a few job interviews, so I've gotta see what pans out. Don't count me out as a buyer, I'll catch you on AIM and keep you informed |
Ive got that same Rotting christ poster kickin around some where. Definatly my favorite album by them, and i got to listen to it through someones kick ass Bose system while i was cleanin their house last week. Sounded even greater. If ya change your mind and want to sell the cab, I might know some one. |
Sorry for being kinda off the subject, but the other day, I had major catastrophic tube failure, like my amp just suddenly sounded like giraffe farts.....So Hoser the tube master checks it out, ended up having like 3 seperate types of mesa tubes (red, yellow, green) all in line and shit, we switched em with all matched, and WOW SHIT WOW...whole new world baby. what a difference. I knew they needed replacing, but again, WOW SHIT WOW.
SOOOOOO much better sounding, thick crunchy longer sustaining pinch harmonics, the whole 9 yards.
I thought Id share that. (hose if ur reading this, thanx again) |
congrats on the VHT.
i love mine. |
mine has two different kinds.
two ac30's two GT75's |
What do you want for it?
I'd trade you a full stack for that one cabinet. 2 Peavey 4x12s...they are old but they both work fine. |
what kinda Peaveys ya got there Kinslaya? |
sorry, no peavey cabs. blech. |
Peavey Cabs != good... I own one, I hate it |
One of them is like vintage, I dont even know what model it is...the other is right here:
I took the little plastic decal things off of it though so it's just the plain black metal grill. |
LOL vintage peavey.
That means just plain old.
No offense, Ive owned peavey b4.
Peavey 60/60 is one of the greatest tube power amps ever made in its price range. |
I should have put 'vintage, emo, punk, retro!' and it would have sold...
It's the cabinet that came with this head YEARS ago:
I thought I was the shit when I had a PV backstage plus and a pv bandit 112 stacked up together, when I was 13.
I also had the orange boss 'distortion' pedal, and a digitech rack tape delay.
Yikes, that must've sounded so assy. |
