Guys, this is the basic story behind that video. If you notice, at the end of the video it fades into some guy sitting at a desk (at least it did on the one I downloaded a while ago, don't know about this link though). A Norweigian (I think) news program was doing a story on black metal some time way back when in that mystical decade we call the 90s, and I guess Immortal got permission from them to air a music video. So they went out on the very day the story was going to run and spent 6 hours recording them running around in the forest, and condensed it down to the length of Call Of The Wintermoon, all for your viewing pleasure! And yes, they think the video is just as ridiculous as we do. |

I don't like videos really. Just in general. I always think "Hey, I'll come up with my own fucking picture for this song, you don't tell me what the hell it means!! *shake fist*." I mean, these Immortal ones are really funny, and I don't dislike all videos, just usually I'd rather listen to the song. |

Because this is such a recognizable album cover, the humor potential is so high (in my opinion). So the fact that they chose such a bad angle of Horgh's head to superimpose ruins the picture more than such a mistake would ruin another picture. |
