We're going to be booking a few dates for our CD release and are looking for some devastating bands to hop on the shows with us. They would be late May/June at a couple different places(The Bombshelter, Club 305/The Living Room, The Atrium/Club Marque/Lucky Dog/Ralph's, and maybe somewhere in Boston). Nothing's too definite yet but if I hear from more bands it will be easier to plan.

there'll probably be one date in each area, i wanna see if i can get upstiars at the palladium because i've been to like 4 local cd release shows there but i think they worry too much about money nowadays

random update on the situation: the bombshelter show is definitely happening in early June I just need to hear back from serge, i can't get a hold of the damn living room cuz their mailbox is full, and i'm thinking the worcester show will either be at the marque or the lucky dog

The Bombshelter show is going to be on June 4th. There's already another band(Cryptonym...a band from Springfield that had already booked the date with serge...i guess they're bringing a busload of people or something) on the bill leaving 3 spots available. He said he'd rather book bands from the area to try to make the draw larger so any bands interested in that show(or any of the shows for that matter) should give me a call at 508-798-5506 to confirm things with me
The Worcester show is definite, I'm still just waiting on a date, but I'm getting all the bands together.
The providence show is kind of iffy, I still can't get a hold of anyone at the Living Room no matter what I do.

i've been in touch with him fairly often...he has returned all of my calls it ju8st so happens that i call when he's not around and he calls when i'm not around...it's a vicious cycle

i can fit like 4 or 5 more bands(three are already booked)
it's a shadow show(you have to sell ten tickets at $10, but you keep all the money you make after that so if you hold up your end of the deal you can make some sweet sweet cash...even though money sucks ass)
it'd either be all ages or 18+ and would start aruond 5 and go to 11 |

i need one more band to fill out a show at the crypt in late june. i haven't booked the date cuz i wanted to have all three slots filled but Devil in the Kitchen seemed iffy about it. So far it's us and Suspension of Graces. The show will be late June.
Also, there is a 10 band show going on in shrewsbury june 24th at some random club i've never heard of, but if there may be some slots available on it, i'll just have to talk to the chick putting it on. if you're interested e-mail me or something...massachusettsdeathtrip@hotmail.com |
