I know hes not one for boasting... but if it weren't for this website and the exposure it gets, i would not be where i am. I've met awsome friends, heard awsome bands, and gotten awsome reviews on shows ive missed, soley due to his, and this sites, efforts. I thank you for helping and representing us (as the metal scene and mostly friends) for putting forth a forum where we can all converse. amen, alot of us owe it to the Rev for forming one of the best online communities ever.

the rev touches me at almost every show i attend, and each time a little bit of me dies. i often spend my nights after shows crouched next to the toilet crying until 6:00 am when my bodily fluids have pretty much exhausted themselves and i pass out due to dehydration. thank you reverend. thank you.

funny how some things change while others stay the same. It\'s been a while since one of these threads. It\'s nice that people appreciate him and see everything that he does. Back in 2003 I threw him a surprise show and everyone on the board was invited, got a bunch of bands to play and i rented out the Met Cafe, unfortunatly, not that many people showed up. I think if i did that again things would be different...

yeah, all of us owe Aaron big for running this community. I can't figure out how he manages to run this, work a real job, shoot tons of shows, and still manage to have a personal life with another kick ass photographer. a lot of us owe Carina big thanks too, especially all my brothers and sisters in Shroud.

it's not even the fact that he runs the site, it's the fact that he goes to 2-4 shows a week and pays over $4000/yr to run this site. don't you think we could have benefit shows to help pay for the some of the costs? 10 bucks a head, 3/4 shows a year, 100-133 people attending each show. all the money goes to the rev?

problem w/ that logic is that you ahve to pay to rent out a place to have the shows....so more people would need to show up. leave me alone.

10 is pricey, especially if you wanna get over 100 people in the door... It's a cool idea though, especially workable with some small hall shows and shit.
