Release date: May 9th, 2004

This is only a month away now, so expect some pre-release goodies in the next few days.

We'll have 2 full mp3s from the album and the artwork.
T-shirt artwork will be up in the next week or so.

I'll update this thread shortly with some interesting stuff.

For now, here's the tracklisting:

1. Thrashterpiece Theater (Instrumental)
2. Internally Reviled
3. Charred Earth
4. From Catalyst to Catharsis
5. Counterfeit Corporeality
6. Snakestrike
7. Rite of Initiation
8. Shadows and Steel
9. Chainsaw Sacrifice Ritual
10. Caught Beneath Conscience
11. Man in the Dark (Instrumental)
12. Sanity's Aberration

Yes, I know there's a band called Thrashterpiece Theater now but we thought of that song title a couple years ago so we're just going to stick with it.

Thank you for your compliment and thanks again for getting us on those amzing Box of Knives shows! I think this recording actually does our songs justice, unlike past demos we've recorded. I'm psyched for people to hear this record.

You're still based out in Providence right Tom? Do you have any connections with people booking shows out there right now? We'd love to play more in PVD, it's such a fun city. We have a show there at the AS220 on April 15th right now.

Fuck! April 15th there's a show in New Bedford with TRANSFIX, ANOXIA and THOUSAND SILENT.

Who else is playing the AS220 show with CW on the 15th?

toggletoggle post by tomx @ work at Apr 6,2005 3:47am
you know i am! i love this city. but in all sad honesty, after the Station fire got everything shut down, the only places left in PVD that are even willing toconsider booking a metal show are:
AS220, (thank god for them)
the living room (a total dive, so much so only 10 people went to dying fetus there, just because it sucks so bad)
Safari Lounge (cool about puttin on shows, but its tiiiiiny, and you wont make a red cent there since they dont have the license to charge)
and basement shows...its struggling down here right now...

as for contact people areound here, theres chris abomb and anne armageddon (both of whom post here), and the club owners themselves.

let you in on a little secret, dont get anyones hopes up yet, but mike and i are trying to get another space in PVD, on agnes st, now that the whole situation here has calmed down a bit...hopefully it all works out....if it does, itll make the bok look like (an even bigger) pile of worthless shit

Hirax isn't playing anymore I don't think, so it'll be CW, RAOV, Strong Intention, I, Destroyer.

Ok then I won't use 'now' so loosely. But how should I have known about this? According to the other post you guys don't even have a full band yet. Did you play shows back in the day? Did you release any recordings?

I don't want to be a problem to anyone else, but we still plan on using the song title unless you guys have any legal rights to the name. It's just a song (a very thrashy song btw) and it won't stand in the way of your band if you actually get it together.

I didn't mean any hostility, bro. We played a ton of shows back when. Being a thrash cover band we didn't release any recordings. we're getting the group back together because in these sad times thrash is 100 percent underappreciated.(true thrash, that is.) My hat goes off to you guys. Good luck!

Thanks! What you guys are planning on doing is awesome so I hope you can get a band together. If you do, do me a favor and try to work "Soul Search Me" by Exhorder and "A Subtle Induction" by Dark Angel into your repertoire. It's a really tough choice but I'd have to say those are my two favorite true thrash songs.

Sorry! The image file was too small and when I made it bigger it looked bad, so I'd rather just wait until I have a good image file of the cover. But...

here's our first promo track from the record! Track 10: Caught Beneath Conscience. Let us know what you all think.

awe man ....you call your instrumental that..(damn!) thats supposed to be our cover band name..I know my boy is pissed...but murderstien bag rules..

toggletoggle post by Al Ravage at Apr 9,2005 5:26pm
What are you guys getting so angry about... A) it's a cover band... you can name a cover band anything...you are playing other people's songs

B) it is a song title, not a band name... bands have the same song titles all the time.. they could have named their album Thrashterpiece Theatre and there wouldn't be a trademark problem

relax yoselves

and, Anthony, post the art

toggletoggle post by Robdeadskin  at Apr 9,2005 5:30pm
im not angry.......my boy is....im just sayin....we thought we had a orginal name goin that was funny...im in three fuckin bands anyway so (relax)

and who cares that its a cover band...thats why it is called thrashterpiece theater

toggletoggle post by Anthony nli at Apr 9,2005 5:48pm
Why are people still talking about this?

This song name really doesn't matter. We both came up with the idea on our own (both CW and your friend) so I don't see that there's an issue. It's not like it's the most ridiculously original idea anyways, seeing as December Wolves have already released an album called Blasterpiece Theater. Your friend really ought to relax.

I wish people cared about the actual song I posted today than this petty name stuff.

toggletoggle post by Anthony nli at Apr 9,2005 5:49pm
ps the artwork probably won't be posted until mon. or tues.

toggletoggle post by Al Ravage at Apr 9,2005 5:52pm

Ok, sorry about the delay but the artwork will probably be up tomorrow.

Here's the second promo track from the cd, tell us if you like it and tell us if you don't, same goes for the other track. Here's both of 'em:

Internally Reviled http://www.crypticwarning.com/mp3s/InternallyReviled.mp3

Caught Beneath Conscience http://www.crypticwarning.com/mp3s/CaughtBeneathConscience.mp3

toggletoggle post by Al Ravage at Apr 11,2005 6:00pm
You guys are playing at "Chah-lees"?... that's awesome, I will go to that.
The new version of "Internally Reviled" is great... this is the way it was meant to be heard, the intro is much heavier too... I can't wait to hear the new versions of "Rite Of Initiation" and "Snake Strike".
Did you guys trigger the bass and snare or just the bass?

toggletoggle post by Anthony at Apr 11,2005 6:06pm
Thanks Al! It would be awesome if you came to the Charlies show. The only thing triggered on the record is the bass drum.

toggletoggle post by Anthony nli at Apr 11,2005 9:37pm
BUMP- You will buy our cd!! (... please)

Lyrics teaser:

from Track 5 "Counterfeit Corporeality"

"A bizarre recognition of human perversion
And subservient systems seek sadistic subversion.
With well-planned schematics, still the outcome was tragic:
A robotic revel in the absence of flesh."

Have him MC the CD release show. I'd definitely enjoy another Moist Oystereinspherium show, and Celaphic Carnage will be utterly confused. Good times for all!

Coming soon.

Looks like we won't have shirts at the Cephalic show. Oh well.
