why did I go to this show? cause it was 100% all bands that I didn't know at all.
were they metal? no.
were they hardcore? no.
it was a good show none the less. props to chris for taking up a show that wasn't his typical. a big 8===D to people who didn't go to this show cause nobody came in and it was a lot of good eclectic music.

they're all robots: good stuff. I think it would be a lot better on cd, but it was cool to see live. At one point there was a guy who ran around and played everything with a violin bow which you actually could hear live. it was funny cause wood was on drums. I really like the stuff he did with the electronic drum pad. the only song that I head with singing sounded like american analong set's singer. the singer was drunk later on and thanked me. I would have to thank him for his praise.

nightmare bear: they have a keyboard player normally, but he wasn't present. I think that they would have sounded a lot like horse the band with a keyboard player. the only band on this show to have their own lights. the dual singer were ok.. but I think they could do more with it. maybe they do with the keyboardist.

mommy and daddy: just a bass, drum machine, girl and guy. it was really cool. they had a lot of energy an switched up a lot. when the guy was singing and the girl was on bass, it sounded a lot like PIL and with they switched up, it sounded more like crass. these guys get my surprise plus for being the band that I didn't know the most and being the best.

chariots: this features the ex-singer of norma jean. this was also the band that I went down there to see. yes, seeing their name on a bill convinced me to head over.. well... down to PVD. good stuff. I must say that they had a lot of energy for a crowd of none. the singer was all over the place and playing a keyboard at the same time.

call me lighting: I relly didn't stay long enough to really get an idea of their music. sorry, but I tried to snap quickly and run out to see IONs set. which I missed. they had a lot of energy though.

Umm, hey I don't know if anyone noticed but that isn't "The Chariot" in those pictures. Maybe it's just a different band called Chariots but Josh Scogin's (former Norma Jean vocalist) band is called "The Chariot" and that's not them in the pictures. I just thought that might need to be pointed out.

I wish I could have seen They're All Robots. They kick ass. Everyone should see them at least once in their life. Too bad I was at the Living Room...one of those times where there are more than one show going on. And I didn't know about the AS220 show....thought about going there. Next time....Sorry Woody!

this was honestly a show providence would have enjoyed. i picked up cds from all the bands (except nightmare bear because they didnt have any) and the cds are just as awesome. i was so impressed by each and every band and to top it off they were all really nice people. id love to see nightmare bear again with their keyboard player. they were very tight, and very very awesome. the rest of em... i hope they come around soon and get a better turnout. btw, thanks for comin to that show rev. it's most important for everyone to know that he doesnt just cover metal and hardcore shows, and also important to note that im sure it can get discouraging making the hike everyday to shows to help out bands like he does, but he has done it without end for quite some time so.... props!!!
