the disappearer: I was sort of holding back on the picture taking runing their set cause,
1) my camera was back focusing
2) everyone looked dazed and blinded after every shot I snapped.
at the beginning of the set, Jebb's, bassplayer, rigg not working. the guitarist played some ambient stuff. they played a much shorter set than I thought/hoped they would play. I'm not sure why either... but anyhow, they rocked out, playing the two songs that I really like. the one I especially like, they ended with when the guitarist bends his guitar.
oh, and it was the drummers birthday.. if anyone wants to buy him a drink.

zombi: I was seriously impressed by them. I've been listening to cosmos a lot lately and they were spot on with every sweap, blip, beep, click, drum and sample. That and it was only two guys. I would completely suggest to anyone who likes their cd to check them out live.. flawless.

I bet this was a killer show.

the turn out sucked it up...
but man...
I'm still so impressed by zombi sounding 100% like the cd.

disappointing show. disappearer played too short a set (yes, I read there were technical problems but they were solved). ichabod not showing up. not many people showed up.

and what's up with doing drum checks after the club is open? *thump* *thump* *thump*.... annoying.

I play in Ichabod and just wanted to set the record straight here...Ichabod did not NOT show up, we just didn't get told the show got moved from the Middle East and that we were still on it! Shred led us to believe it had just been cancelled. Bummer, as we were soooo psyched to play with both of these bands.
