and on through May, June, July, August, etc.

Where:
Right on the Green Line in
Allston, MA
-----------------------------------------------

Details on how these nights work (posted below):

The ideal bands:

High School and College bands from the Boston area are the ideal bands.

Must have an ALL AGES crowd with a decent draw in the Boston area.

Must have no ALL AGES shows booked in the Boston area (Boston, Allston, Somerville, Cambridge, etc.) at least 3 weeks before and 2 weeks after the date they select to play.

Bands must be willing to work hard to promote these shows and any others we might do together in the future (ie. flyers, email, email lists, online promo, word of mouth, etc.). If everything goes well there will definitely be more opportunities for your band to play on ALL AGES and other shows with me again at this venue and others.

Age Restriction: ALL AGES

Cover: $10adv/$12dos

Doors: at 12pm

Show: 1:00-5:30pm

Sound: Excellent PA system! The sound in this room is stellar, the club has its own sound person.

Stage and lights: Really big stage, and professional lighting

Drinks: No alcohol will be served. Juice, water, and soda will be available at the club for everyone however.

Load in: at 11:30am, through the back or the front.

Parking: There is a parking lot around back, but please be aware that there is only a certain area back there where you can park for Harpers Ferry. There is also limited on the street parking.

Pay: Based on draw for the night. Bands will get a percentage of based on their draw.

What the hell is that,i dont know about most bands but I like to play shows alot when we can get them...thats kind of a stupid "rule"

It's not a stupid rule at all, clubs and promoters want to make sure the show does as well as possible, if the band is playing all the time in the same area, then whatever draw they do have will be split between all those shows

it's a good rule if you're booking big bands. but the people who go to watch bands in high school are generally friends of the kids in the band and will go regardless. right?

I hope Alex Onslaught sues them for the name.

Haha if only I had legal grounds. I would go to these shows if there were 1 or 2 decent bands on em, I see no reason for bands here not to try. Aside from a small handful of bands playing the Library, there aren't any heavy bands playing all ages shows in the immediate Boston area anytime, much less w/in 3 weeks of these shows.

i've played one of Lionel's shows before only one other band showed up, when the bill had 5bands booked. Lionel himself didn't even show up to the show, fuck that guy !

i ran a venue like this in southie (Pierced Club). mostly punk bands but some metal and hc bands played. price was only $3 so tons of kids came. and we kept the price low so kids could spend extra money on the band's merch.

How strict are they gonna be about sneaking alcohol in?
