What is an Ampfest? Everyone brings their amps to let others try them out...possibly jam out sessions.
I'm posting it here in hopes we can get some metal kids going rather than it being a bunch of blues/jazz herbs. There might be a small cover charge to take care of renting the place out...Who would attend?

the room is costing about $150 which will basically be split between everyone who's going. Dan, is the guy who's renting the room. He posts on another board I post at.

I'd love to go. Is it necessary to bring stuff, though? I'm kinda afraid of having the settings on my Mark IV messed with.
Getting to play that ENGL would be nice, though. And some of those other amps mentioned there (Like all those Voodoo-modded ones). |

no, it's not required that you bring shit. if you're afraid of having your settings messed with, just simply write them down. Yeah, actually trace from voodoo amps might be coming with some voodoo stuff. |

A POD probably wouldn't be necessary...heh. Bring it if 'ya want, but 95% of the people there are tube-elitists [Myself somewhat included] and probably wouldn't touch the POD pro with a 10 foot pole.
Oh, and the show doesn't look like it's going to be the 16th, luckily. |

It's right off of I-93 just north of Boston, right behind Home Depot - this will be the main landmark. When you get there, the room is over by the white awning.
If these directions aren't right (I know they are at least damn close), I reserve the right to correct them at a later date...
Directions -
From West - Get on Mass Pike (I-90) and take into Boston. Take 93 North and follow directions for South.
From South - Take 93 North to the Route 28 exit (right after Sullivan Sq. exit). Take a right to go onto Route 28 North. Take a right at the light - this should be going back towards the Home Depot/movie theater. Take a right at the stop sign. Good Time is on the left.
From North - Take 93 south to the Sullivan Sq exit (you'll pass Home Depot). At the fork, bear right to go towards Broadway. Before you get to the merge, there will be a place to take a U-turn under the highway to get on Mystic Ave. Do this. Take a right at the light that is on the far side of Home Depot. It will be straight in front of you.
