Im In dire need of a Chrome Pearl export bass drum for the set that I have at my house. When my friend brought it over a year ago i guess his fell out and somebody snagged it.
I also need to find a lefty double bass pedal for my friend steve whos gonna be playing drums for Coffin birth, which is obviously a double bass band
Any way if any one knows anyone/anyplace selling any of this in the area let me know please.

how come nobody ever lists goat pee in their rig?

toggletoggle post by DeOdiumMortis  at Mar 2,2005 4:33pm
Can't you take apart any double-bass pedal and make it for a lefty?

I use goat pee and pig snot in my bass rig.

No mike i dont think so, considering how they actually sell ones made for leftys, but are a little hard to come by. Ill try swithing around the one i have but i doubt that will work also.

I may very well be mistaken, I only thought it was possible. Doesn't hurt to try though.

Yea Ill give it a try , man how i wish it were true cause it would help get the ball rolling with the band.

The 80$ pulse doubl bass pedals that you can buy of musicians friend can be switched from righty to lefty. I have one right now.
People are weary because they are cheap, but I think mine is great

You can convert most pedals.

toggletoggle post by handinjury at Mar 2,2005 9:50pm
I have a Tama Iron cobra and DW 9002 dbl pedals and niether of them can be converted to two single pedals, wicked gay!

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Mar 2,2005 9:51pm
The pulse can... it has insane options for being such a cheap pedal.

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Mar 2,2005 10:01pm
Holy shit, thanx for the info Niccolai

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Mar 3,2005 4:01pm
Dude is it like a complicated process converting them? cause if that pulse pedal, which Ive seen quite a few pictures of, can be switched around Im just not seeing how.
Any leads on the bass drum i need?

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Mar 3,2005 4:22pm
as far as the basdrum goes, theres a company that makes wraps for your bassdrum that come in different colrs and patturns. you could even get a chrome contact paper and just sticker your bass drum with it.

converting the pedal isn't like pain staking, you don't need any other pieces or anything, it just has alot of steps and pieces to move around.

I just really wanna make sure i(or steve) get the right thing. Ill probably go ebay cause thats cheaper and usually faster, but ya dont always get any guarantee with them.

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Mar 3,2005 4:27pm
oh yea and whats the name of that company , and how much would it cost to do something like that?

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Mar 6,2005 3:51pm
man i never woulda have thought adding to a drum kit would suck soo much.
