I never started this shit talk parade... Matt did I simple called him to try to talk to him the other day about the show we were suppose to have on Saturday but recieved no answer (Friday). I called him the next day and recieved the same result (Saturday), I even called him the next day (the day we normally practice depending on what time he gets out of work) (Sunday) and yet again got no answer.... so I left him a simple message saying that he was out of the band because he couldnt find a second to call, write, whatever to let me know what was up with him.

Its never been that I was trying to make it personal. He was and you are.

Matt and I are no longer part of Terminally, Your Aborted Ghost. My time in the band had its ups and downs, but over the past year it became a series of let downs. I can’t speak for Matt on this but I’m sure that he agrees that Devon has completely changed as a person.
Since February of last year Devon committed to something that completely steered his attention away from the band. I’m not going to jab him for having a girlfriend that is a diversion from life, but he simply could not and still can not handle anything without her regulation. People should take note that after this TYAG went from playing a show at least once a week to barely playing at all. During the past year I can count the number of shows that we had played on my hands, quite a difference from a show a week.
Devon has also made mention of the fact of me playing drums for Colin Of Arabia has brought this band down, and that I want to be in a hardcore band because it is trendy. I joined COA because Terminally was becoming an inactive band. I want to be in a band that actually goes out and makes the effort to get things accomplished. The fact that I wanted to be in a hardcore band because it is trendy is a lie. I have enjoyed hardcore music years before I even started playing in bands. Because I wanted to try playing a different style of music that wasn’t grind or metal, I automatically became trendy in his eyes. Also the fact that COA actually goes out and tours, and that our CD hasn’t taken over 2 years to come out seems to make him jealous. He has even walked out of a few COA shows in temper fits because of crowd reactions to my other band
I took a year off from school because Devon had these gigantic tours and label offers all in store for us. What became of theses tours? What became of these label offers? None of it ever came through. Devon will empty promises and exaggerate what people say to feed his new found ego created by Elyse.
The fact that Matt and I don’t have the financial freedom of getting college paid for by our parents, or being able to cruise around in our girlfriend’s cars, forces us to work which Devon can’t seem to understand. Matt and I have conflicting schedules and it has caused us to miss practices on a few occasions.
If Devon continues on with Terminally, it is simply ridiculous. The fact that Matt and myself wrote most of the songs leaves with him with very little to work with. Terminally has simply become a ground to feed this egomaniac. The band will never be the same and i will never support anything that he does.
I enjoyed the time I spent in the band, and to anyone that supported it, it sucks that it has to end this way, especially over something as minor as a girl.

I've known you for a while now and it seems to alot of people that you let this tyag shit get your head......well....it's true. You can't honestly blame Nick for wantng to drum for coa because that band has a future in hardcore. They have a tight sound and a fanbase that is growing wider by the day. They put alot of effort into their shit and they play every show they can get on. You also can't threaten Rowe and Nick because there's gonna be consequences if you keep that shit up. i've only seen TYAG once back in 03, but i am now your biggest fan !

I went to a show in rhode island last year and TYAG got less than a half hour to play because matt didn't show up... He may or may not have been doing something important (like working) but the point is, Devon was there.

From the times I've seen them, I always thought TYAG was a great band and CW really enjoyed playing with them.

So yeah.. it's too bad they're breaking up. Good luck to everybody who was in the band.
