For Immediate Release

January 2005

Atreyu, Unearth, Norma Jean and Scars of Tomorrow: Aggressive music’s veritable melting pot personifies the spectrum from metal to hard core to melody- This unstoppable bill hits your town on Tour this Winter 2005!!! BE THERE!

Unearth have lead the way in the metallic/hardcore tornado which like a brutal storm keeps building momentum. Unearth has made their name in the hardcore underground for the last few years. However, during the last 6 months this Boston based phenomenon have ALSO made themselves known as a viable act to metal aficionados while supporting the release of their Metal Blade debut “The Oncoming Storm” June 2004. Unearth have been touring non stop with such greats Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, Lamb Of God, Damage Plan with Hatebreed on two MTV2 Headbangers Ball Tours; as well as the hard to top bill of Ozzfest 2004 (Slayer, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Superjoint Ritual, Atreyu etc). After which the band were off to Europe to devastate audiences then returning to the states to tour with hardcore and metal underground favorites Terror, Black Dahlia Murder and Remembering Never. There were some extra stops the band fit in such as legendary Hellfest and WSOU’s “Not so silent night” and some dates in Canada with Slipknot and Killswitch Engage January 2005
Trevor Phipps the voice of the band states “Touring with our buddies in Atreyu again is no doubt going to be a good time had by all. We are stoked to be hitting up familiar cities as well as some new stops for us on this tour. With bigger stages comes baracades and things get a bit less intimate than the small club scene, but we will do everything we can to bring our show the right way and make everyone feel 100% part of the show. We won't disappoint.”

Norma Jean have a new CD out March 1 on Solid State titled, O God The Aftermath - there is a lot behind their music - it rushes at you; hard core for the intellectual with a twisted sense of art. To witness Norma Jean live is to experience a kaleidoscope of beautiful brutality.

“I am really stoked,” says enigma type front man Cory Brandan- There’s something for everyone that likes heavy music on this tour. For us the most fun thing about touring is having a new song and playing it for the first time. In this case we will have about eight new songs. So that's about eight times more fun than average. We plan on slipping them in our set randomly until the record comes out, and then unleashing them all eventually. It’s going to be undisciplined, no regard for life or limb, insanity. This tour could possible make someone’s face fall off.
