me

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Jan 9,2005 9:23pm
it's valid, but c'mon. People are talking like NE's got nothing. Law's been out for how long? NE's been the team that pulls thru despite large amounts of injuries. why is this any different?

toggletoggle post by moran   at Jan 9,2005 9:50pm
I'm not scared, but they're gonna beat us some time. Hopefully its not next week.

toggletoggle post by Robdeadskin  at Jan 9,2005 10:00pm
Fuck the colts!

toggletoggle post by BornSoVile   at Jan 9,2005 10:02pm
Payton is good.

toggletoggle post by whiskey_weed_and_women  at Jan 9,2005 10:11pm
wtf we gotta go out there and actually play a team and the Steelers could send out there 2nd team squad vs. the Jets. wtf is that all about, what happend to the Chargers.

choke much !

but NE will and should pull this off Peyton is horrible outdoors.

toggletoggle post by Robdeadskin  at Jan 9,2005 10:12pm
STEELERS....ARE THE ONLY TEAM THAT MATTERS..OOPS!

toggletoggle post by whiskey_weed_and_women  at Jan 9,2005 10:16pm
what's that crybabies, sure sure !

toggletoggle post by JayTUS   at Jan 9,2005 10:53pm
I am definitely scared, but I am just going to hope history repeats itself. They've fought this hard, this long. I need three more big games out of that defense!!

judgement night

NE will win, although the colts are another favortie of mine
"CUT THAT MEAT! CUT THAT MEAT!" payton is hillarious

toggletoggle post by streets at Jan 10,2005 1:25am
peyton is all about the glory and the stats, he just wants to go down in history, and whatever. he probably wont win a championship because of that, he only throws to two friggen recievers. thats why the pats are, and will be reigning champions again, because they are a TEAM. players dont understand this nowadays. they just want more money and endorsements. look at the red sox, they won not only because they were the best team in the major leagues, but because they played as family. thats all i gotta say.

patriots 24
colts 17

I think you are wrong about Peyton Manning. He does want to win and seeing as though he had three receivers with 1000 yards and 10+ TD's, he obviously throws to more then two receivers. He wants to win, unfortunately, the Colts will never win a Super Bowl unless they get home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and until they can prove they can win playoff games outdoors, that's a stigma they will be stuck with. It's bound to happen sooner or later, I just hope it's not next Sunday...

Does anyone else think that anything Peyton has done this year should go in the books with an asterisk for "Throwing a tantrum until the NFL changed its rules to your advantage" Sure Barry Bonds may have hit 73 HRs because of steroids but Billy Volek, BILLY VOLEK, threw for nearly 1,000 yards over a span of two games this season. What does that say about the Peyton Rules' effect on the NFL?

toggletoggle post by tbone_r  at Jan 10,2005 4:12am
im scared of a beat up patriots D and an explosive colts offense. however, i have so much faith in bellicheck, and such low expectations for manning in the clutch, that i still think the pats should win this game.

i also agree w/ everything i've seen jaytus type about the patriots (and red sox).

toggletoggle post by Scoracrasia   at Jan 10,2005 9:05am
Pats 34
Colts 28

Go Pats!!

toggletoggle post by nate   at Jan 10,2005 9:06am
it's scary but Byron (Scoracrasia) has always been within a few points of final scores when he makes projections.... I used to place bets on his picks.

toggletoggle post by nate   at Jan 10,2005 9:07am
oh yeah, GO Pats! We ain't scared! Even with 2 rings in 3 years people still doubt us!

toggletoggle post by WhyamIandasshole   at Jan 10,2005 10:12am
Even though our defense is missing some guys they're still better than the Colts D, and our offense is much improved. Grind it out with Dillion, keep Peyton off the field, Pats 34 Colts 31.

toggletoggle post by dyingmuse   at Jan 10,2005 11:52am
this will indeed be a tough game...manning is a great qb, but not against us we always make manning look stupid! i am a bit worried, not having law in there though!

toggletoggle post by Abbath at Jan 10,2005 12:21pm
if Brady stops being a pussy and starts playing like he did earlier in the season we have nothing to worry about, the guy acts like a big baby lately

toggletoggle post by dyingmuse   at Jan 10,2005 12:41pm
yeah indeed, thats weird, he is usally the fucking man in clench situations. if anyone will win a game in the last minute, it's brady, but lately, he has been a bit weird!

If he was going to get a * for anything, it would be because he played half his games indoors in a controlled climate where weather had no impact on the game, but I don't agree with that either. As you pointed out, everyone else in the NFL had the same rules and guys had good seasons and had every opportunity to do what Peyton did. The Colts offense is just that good.

The only thing that gives me hope about this weekend is that:

-The Chargers played the Colts tight and should have beat them.
-The TEXANS played the Colts tight in a 24-21 game
-Peyton Manning + cold/snowy weather usually = disaster

Like I said, I am just hoping history repeats itself. All we have to do is worry about Brady and the rest of the offense putting their points on the board and the defense just doing their job. The Colts are going to get their points, the Pats just need to make sure they don't give them to them (like the Dolphins and Steelers games)...

Clutch situations are you can win the game with a field goal and you've got a minute on the clock. Turning the ball over 4 times is just being dumb. I dont think there is any team that can do that shit and still win a game including the Colts.

I can't wait to see Manning slap his helmet w/ both hands and give that dumbassed Opie Cunningham look

toggletoggle post by SickFuckerRedneckTrucker   at Jan 10,2005 8:29pm
Prediction: New England Patriots 31, Indianapolis Colts 21. Then bring on the Pittsburgh Steelers for some payback!
