man... have you heard the new Immortal album? that is some HELLA tight BLACK METAL

hm... seeing as this week I saw:
1) sunday - posi hardcore
2) wednesday - se hardcore
3) thursday - old school metal and black metal
4) friday - metalcore/grindcore and some other things
5) saturday - metalcore, thug-core, hardcore, and death metal
I wonder what that makes me?

i hate hardcore as much as the next guy
but i do believe this site does say it's for metal, hardcore, grind, and then all sorts of other styles that are either subgenres or a cross genres
so i'd say it would be common sense to assume hardcore kids are going to post on a message board that promotes hardcore

i am a "hardcore kid" who has been going to metal shows since i was 14. I will post whatever I want.

I know whats wrong with it I think because theres no metal musicians looking to form TRUE METAL bands besides me I think thats a problem man. OH WELL!

you know whats really wrong with this board?....a constant influx of weiners and nerds that don't have the capacity to make a point when they make their posts.

alot of people have been coming to this board for a long time, alot for hardcore, alot for metal, and a lot for everything in between. The only real trend is that a nice big chunk of them are straightup knobs. It's "listen to my shitty band" this, and "unity" that, and "blah blah blah true metal" out of every other jackass's mouth. If you're going to make a post here have the decency to have a point to it. Have a plan, somethign you hope to accomplish besides some incoherent pile of sentence fragments trying to pass as factual information. If anything is "wrong" with this board, that's what it is.

I've been posting here for quite some time. I don't come here for supporting any scene, representing anything, or "true metal" (whatever the hell that is supposed to mean) I come here to be informed, discuss, and should the occassion call for it make fun of someone. If you want to add meaning to your life get a job, get a hobby, go on a spiritual quest with a space coyote, anything. Don't look for it on a goddamn computer message board.

It's fucking music, that's it. It's not your life. It's not your reason for living. And if your reason for existence is to list the reasons why you're the worlds biggest Borknagar fan then you've got way more problems then a message board can solve.

if you don't like listening to hardcore kids, then find another messageboard full of kids who feel the same way. Check the site description. Just because it's run by a kid with long hair doesn't mean anyone has to cater to your opinions. deal.

if you're looking for "true metal" musicians, im sure theres dozens of message boards for that, if you put the effort into looking for these places that you did into complaining you'd probably have a band right now and something to do.
