PIZZA BY GEORGE , no other comment is valid... well it is... but imagine the freshest, tastiest, shredded steak, marinated in pure goodness then tossed on a roll, "the old roll," that you touch and see your fingerprint in its soo soft. With extra cheesy cheese and salt and pepper optional but i take it anyway. try one today, right now. off exit 5 on NH rt 101 east.

Buffalo wings: Hangar in Amherst, MA

grossest meal ever: Supa's in Lowell, MA...the fat chicken. It's like chicken with cheese sticks and bacon and shit...do gross....fucking fantastic.

best meal ever: "this dick"

I went to Jim's Steak in Philly once and had the best cheesesteak of my life. Anyone who goes to Pennsylvania has to go there.

Worst Meal Ever: Redneck's in Allston Cheeseburger Special. It's supposed to be something like 4.50 for a cheeseburger and fries. Instead they charge you 4.50 for the burger itself, then 50 cents for the cheese and 2.00 for the fries. I can't stand it when cheap douchebags open sub shops.

They get away with it the first time you go in and don't realize what the fuck happened, then you never go back.

Riverbend Dover n.h. hands down best steak and cheese.

Redneck's is a ripoff and most of the help there is rude as hell.

I think most Pizza shops do a decent job... As far as chains go, D'Angelo's does a MIGHTY fine Cheesesteak, highly recommended.

I find that any small hole-in-the-wall sub shop can make a great steak and cheese sub.

There is a place here in Concord called the yellow submarine, there Steak and Cheese is incredible.

LOL this thred, I reviewed Redneck's on Yelp last month and the owner sent me a butthurt email:

I am not sure if you get confused but Mitti's have no Cheeseburger specials! Furthermore even if they had a cheesburger for 3.95 advertisement you have no right to ask for free fries or soda. you are apparently one of those rich white guys/gals who thinks everybody should serve you for free. Please have some decency will you!

I replied: Go give a grizzly bear a handjob.

No need for niceties in the opening since I'm apparently one of those rich white guys/gals who thinks everybody should serve me for free. You assumed wrong pencil dick. Never been a rich kid, just someone who expects decent customer service, truth in advertising and quality food when he grabs a bite to eat. Something Mitti's/Rednecks/what the fuck ever you want to call it "under new management" knows nothing about.

Have some decency, kill yourself.

My conflict resolution skills are excellent.

Liberalism in a nutshell. I'd pay for that person to be raped by ethnically indeterminate individuals with large, curved penises.

best steak and cheese sandwiches i have ever had
1.Ricotti's in East Providence (route 1A)

2.Fire And Ice (you grab as much as you want of whatever you want, you have 17 sauces to choose from, and you can have as much cheese as you want)

3.this is weird, i have been to alot of Papa Gino's in my life, and the subs have always been ok at best, but for some reason Papa Ginos on Gallivan Blvd. in Dorchester makes absolutlely amazing steak and cheese subs.

Gotta say, i kinda agree with orgy on this one. I love papa ginos steak and chesses. They are wonderful, the bun is almost as chewy as the steak, and oh god, that processed american is EXACTELY what should on that meat. (i know it sounds like i am being sarcastic, but i am not. I love their subs. I don't mind papa's pizza either.)

Rednecks-Let me say for the record, I lived in allston for 5years. Only ate rednecks one time. It was aweful. Terrible service, and terrible food. Don't go there, bottom line. Spike's is obviously a good choice, the grasshopper is great vegan times, so is budda's delight on harvard ave. The best steak and cheese in allston by FAR is by la mama's.

La mama's 617-783-1661. That's right, from the top of my head. If you want a real treat, call there and order a
Large BBQ Steak And Cheese
W/Bacon
W/Extra cheese
Toasted.
It's un-frieking-believable. Their pizza is good and notoriously cheap too. Like 8 a large cheese pie. Used to be 6.50 when i first moved there, but inflation. Ya know?

First bite pizza on brighton ave has some good sandwhiches too. I used to live in the apartments accross the st. from em, and they would trade me, i would give the cooks some bud, and i would eat for free all the time. Good sandwhiches, ok pizza, great smoothies.

Funny you mention that...I had one from there for lunch the other day and I was pleasantly suprised. Gallivan Blvd/Morton St. is the bane of my existance however. Knowing that I have to drive to and from work on those street makes me want to hang myself on a daily basis.
