Theres a pulse double pedal on musicians friend for like 70 bucks.
I have one, it's great. 2 aluminum base plates, great response. I mainly use my dw pedal, but the pulse is rivaling.

It's actually a little more expensive than when I bought it, but still cheap as dirt (99$) http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=perc/search/detail/base_pid/444566/
