i have a burnt copy. i wouldn't compare them to soilwork and certainly not meshuggah. That's just my opinion though. i think the drumming is pretty good. too many Kenny G cheese parts for my liking.

how do you not hear influence from either of those bands?

ive been listening to the guys for a few years, good shit. i definitely hear the meshuggah, but i dont know about the soilwork.
Textures are like Meshuggah meets top quality Swedish melodic metal with some ambient/mood/fusion breaks and tech DM riffing thrown in for good measure. Kings.
less than 5 seconds into the song there was alot of meshuggah influence.
i dont like the vox. like a bad amorphis on some parts. and like the singer from shutdown on other parts.
bad metalcore parts too.
then they follow the bad metalcore with good music again. and follow that with the metal core chuggalug again.
this band has potential to be really sick.

textures bad metalcore?uh nope. the vocals are extremely intense, and the music is performed so well its amazing. This band is already really sick and honestly I think it will be hard for them to come even close to toping Polars. Buy this disc if your into bands that actually have a lot of talent and arent afraid to play what they want to play.
