Life Sentence Records is excited to announce that Tears From The Sky
http://www.tearsfromthesky.com/ as recently been added to our roster. Tears From The Sky hails from Montreal, Canada and has been making waves in their scene since 1999. Their sound can be described as an innovative mixture consisting of modern and epic old school metal. Check out their website or an MP3 from their PureVolume page. Their first release will be an EP due out in early 2005, with a full-length to follow later in 2005. We are looking forward to working with them and welcome them to the LSR family.

It’s that time of year and we’re getting into the spirit of the season by offering a discount in our online store. I’m sure you’d agree that our prices are already dirt cheap as it is but now until the end of the year, an additional discount will be given on all orders over $10. Here is how the discounts work. A $10 order will give you a 5% discount. Orders of $20 get 10% off, $30 is 15%, $40 is 20%, and $50 orders will get 25% off. These discounts are also available on our gift certificates if you are having trouble deciding on what you want and the gift certificates can be used for up to 6 months after purchase. Cleveland’s heroes Above This Fire are hard at work recording their debut LSR CD entitled “In Perspective.” The release date is still scheduled for March 8, 2005. We will be posting an MP3 in the next few weeks for you to check out and pre-orders will be offered in early January.
