He'll probably win the district - I wouldn't wanna help elect his Republican opponent have any chance of winning, but I'm not too worried. Meehan is a douchebag though, he met with us when my class went to Washington DC in 8th grade. I asked him about Howard Stern and the FCC, and he seemed content to let the FCC continue dicking around.
These party-line Democrats come across as more educated and thoughtful than their Republican counterparts, but damn, they are still fucking obnoxious bureaucrats. It's really hard to tell when they're sincere about their bleeding heart socialistic leanings and when it's just pandering to the lower middle-class and special interest groups.
Shit, voting a Massachusetts Republican to Congress would (while near impossible) have not been a big deal 10 years ago - I'd have major qualms about giving power to the Republican majority these days though.
