basically, but don't question it....trust your government they know whats best for you, cause anyone on this board is in the top 10%. so keep voting for him.

Kerry spreads fear, too. Bush is dumb. Kerry is dishonest. Bush wants to fuck shit up. Kerry wants to apologize. If I were an illegal, or on welfare, or a terrorist, I'd DEFINITELY vote for Kerry. They're both Skull & Bones anyway.

Why attend a bush rally if you don't already support him anyway. To be a dick and start some hippie chant or some shit? Kerry's people only register in 3 or 4 states anyway.

If Clinton didn't rape the military budget, we'd have TONS of soldiers and TONS of nice gear for killing those bastards. Sounds like the leftist media owns most young people these days.

thats not bush's fault. thats the school being fags. and kerry spreads fear too you forget. Grandma, you're not going to get your ss check in the mail if bush is still in the office. If bush is in office your gonna be drafted. Thats not fear spreading? be more objective both sides are being fear spreading assholes, not just bush voters.

what about the thing that happened in AZ? some person called up a soldier's family and said your son died. the family member says no i just spoke to him. the asshole says oh if you want to keep him that way you'll vote bush. i believe the cops have this on tape somewhere. anywho do you think bush supports would do that? or do you think kerry supporters would do it to make bush supporters look bad? because after someone tells you that would you vote bush? would you even think about it? no doesn't make sence. pissing people off like that doesn't work. tricking people however does.

toggletoggle post by Crucifire at Oct 26,2004 6:09pm
Kerry's gonna bring back the draft anyway. He's the one that wants more soldiers on the ground. They're just pulling the bait and switch on you. The dems live off fear. Fear of expensive health care (but Dem backed laywers like John edwards chase ambulances and put doctors out of business). Fear of overturning RoeVWade. (Never gonna happen, anyway). The dems want your money in their hands. They're killing the middle class with their insistance on over-budget social welfare programs and their "everything is socially acceptable" progressive agenda.

haha yes more military is the way, yup keep thinking that, and yes by all means when did become Metal to trust your government. i find it funny how many people who aren't in the top 10% are Bush supporters. and i could careless about Kerry, he's a pud like Bush but i'd rather see him in office any day. go to AbsolutMetal.com and read my interview with Ben Falgoust and see what he thinks about this whole system...and Crucifire i'm hardly a kid.

I can see that. It's pretty idiotic to think Bush is honest.

I like how all these kids with names like Crucifire are supporting a devout Christian who cites Jesus as his hero.

Lack of soldiers has nothing to do with the budget. Kids are just getting smarter and finding better ways to pay for college. People didn't get fired from the army. All those recruitment offices are there for a reason.

Roe vs Wade is one supreme court justice away from being overturned. If Bush gets to pick the next one, say hello to a lot of unwanted brats.

Are all Republicans this fucking stupid?

As Iraq casualties mount, families of slain soldiers harden political views
By Andrew Kramer, Associated Press, 10/27/2004 09:38

SALEM, Ore. (AP) In the year and a half since her son died in Iraq, Arlene Walters has transformed her living room into a shrine.

Paintings of Sgt. Donald Walters in uniform adorn the walls. His Purple Heart, Silver Star and POW medals sit in a glass case. A banner with a single gold star signifying the loss of a family member in a war hangs in the window.

After her son's death, Walters became an outspoken critic of what she considered President Bush's poor planning for the war. But it's not enough to sway her vote.

''Don was willing to do this, he thought it had to be done, so I had to support him,'' said Walters, 67, who voted for Bush in 2000 and plans to do so again. ''I have to support it because he gave his life for it.''

As casualties continue to mount in Iraq, some who lost family members in the war have switched their political allegiance from President Bush to Democrat John Kerry. One former Bush supporter from Birmingham, Ala., has actively campaigned against the president at anti-war rallies since her son's death.

But many more Republicans and Democrats alike say the experience simply reinforced their views.

''I can't say how angry we are with the administration and how these kids have been used and abused and sacrificed for nothing,'' said Annette Pritchard, an Oregon City Democrat who opposed the war before and after the death of her nephew, Pfc. William Ramirez. ''This war's being fought by poor kids. That's who's over there.''

Lorraine and Michael Earley have attracted attention in Wilmington, Ohio, with their yard display that includes a photo of their dead son, Army Sgt. Steven D. Conover, and a sign that reads: ''Flush the Johns on Nov. 2,'' referring to Kerry and his running mate, John Edwards.

The Earleys placed a toilet near the sign.

''Bush didn't kill my son,'' said Lorraine Earley, 44, who voted for Bush in 2000. ''My son made a choice. Yeah, my son was killed. He was killed so that we would be safe.''

Yeah, 'cause America is just swarming with Iraqis trying to kill us. I feel so much safer now that your stupid kid is dead

In interviews with The Associated Press, many who lost family members in Iraq said they disapprove of Bush's handling of the war, like more than half of likely voters in a recent AP poll. But several said they would vote for Bush nonetheless.

Although he is very displeased with the president's performance, Samuel Oaks, 63, of Harborcreek Township in Pennsylvania feels he must vote for Bush again so he can ''get the job done'' in Iraq.

''I have pretty much lost faith in any of the politicians,'' said Oaks, who lost his grandson, Army Spc. Donald Samuel Oaks Jr., 20, to friendly fire. ''(Bush) never showed us one good reason for our kids to die there.''

So, you want him to "get the job done" for "no good reason"? Fucking brilliant

Others want to do what they can to keep more soldiers from dying and they think that means electing Kerry. For the first time, lifelong Democrat Cheryl Fey of Eden Prairie, Minn., is knocking on doors for her party.

''This is the first time I've felt that I needed to,'' said Fey, whose 22-year-old son, Marine Cpl. Tyler R. Fey, was killed in April. ''We still have troops over there that shouldn't be there and something needs to be done.''

Gordon Angell said he has voted for Democrats in the past but considered himself an independent before his son, Lance Cpl. Levi Angell, 20, died in combat. Now he's campaigning with the Democrats and speaking out about the war at campaign events.

His son told the family that the troops in Iraq didn't have body armor and other protection they needed.

''My son is not a liar. I would believe him before any politician,'' said Angell, of Cloquet, Minn. He said the Bush administration ''is misleading the American public.''

How long until some moron blames lack of body armour on Clinton?

Kerry's military service appeals to retired Marine Kenneth Conde of Orlando, Fla., who feels a willingness to die for the country should be ''a requirement of the presidency.'' Conde's son, Marine Sgt. Kenneth Conde Jr., 23, died in July.

''It's kind of hard to vote for Bush right now after the loss of my son,'' the 43-year-old said. ''The decisions that he made cost the lives of a lot of young men and women, and for that I hold him accountable.''

Some people in Peggy Buryj's family hold Bush responsible for the death of her son, Army Pfc. Jesse Buryj, 21. But she can't understand why.

''An Iraqi killed my son. That proves to me there are evil people over there who need to be dealt with,'' said Buryj, 51.

An Iraqi killed your stupid son because he was invading their country. If your stupid kid invaded my house I'd kill him too. I would guess that your family blames Bush because Bush sent your stupid son to Iraq for no justifiable reason. Too bad you're not as perceptive as they are. Maybe if you were smarter you would've raised a son smart enough to not join the army and die so some millionaires can get richer.

She met Bush in late July when he campaigned in her home town of Canton, Ohio.

''I hugged him and he cried and I cried and he prayed with us. You could tell the compassion. I cried on his shoulder and he cried on mine,'' she said. ''It was an experience I'll never forget.''

Its a good thing that prayer solves all problems Yeah, let's reelect this guy. God is on his side

If the lesser of two evils is bullshit. why are you supporting Bush? You haven't said one thing about him that's good, only that Kerry sucks.
One thing I like about Kerry is that he has actually killed people in combat. I think that makes him much more qualified to be the commander in chief of our armed forces than Daddy-bought-my-way-into-the-National-Guard-and-I-didn't-even-show-up Bush.
I like that Kerry supports the right to kill a fetus.
I like that even though Kerry is Catholic he makes a point of saying he won't impose his morals on others.
I like that Kerry is talking about alternatives to the moronic War on Drugs
I also feel secure that Kerry wouldn't invade a country, killing 1,000 (and counting) american soldiers, because he got bad intelligence.

I hate the fact that Kerry wants to allow abortions of a fetus in the middle of the third trimester when it's capable of breathing, and has a heartbeat
I hate the fact that people make such a big deal about forcing your religion on others, I'm maori and saying under god in the morning doesn't bother me.
I hate that everytime Kerry talks about the war on drugs, his view is never persistant and changes from week to week depending on what people want to hear.
I hate that people bitch about how Bush launched an unfair war on Iraq because he said they had nukes when they didn't, even after the people bitching supported invasion of iraq before Bush even said they might have nukes.

Japan attacked and declared war on the US. Iraq did neither. BIG fucking difference, Einstein.

The B2 doesn't work. Look it up. Although, I never bitched about that.

Again, change your radio station. Rush still thinks you're a mudbaby.

Also, I don't know what cave you were living in in 1992 but a huge deal was made about Clinton going to Oxford during Viet Nam.

Saddam was never a threat to anyone but Iran and Kuwait and most of the population of Iraq. Iraq did not send terrorists over here. Iraq did not attack the World Trade Center. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Its a known fact that Saddam and Osama hated each other. Look it up.

And why was it effortless? Because the Liberal Media knew that it would ultimately fail and were just playing along in order to bash Bush later? Good God, the way republicans make it sound Liberals are able to see into the future. Which makes me wonder, if Bush hadn't been appointed would Gore have forseen 9/11?

Ok, so you say the troubles in Iraq are not real and are being exploited by the media to bash Bush but then admit that the mop-up isn't going well...
FLIP FLOP!

And as a Liberal I have forseen the future and know that Kerry will do a better job. First by getting actual military nations involved in the Coalition Force and second by kicking out the island nation of Tuvalu for war profiteering.

I'm talking about how the very people that suported bush crushing the enemy, now decided to change thier mind.

Japan attacked and declared war on the US. Iraq did neither. BIG fucking difference, Einstein.

Is that So? the US didn't declare war on japan?

The B2 doesn't work. Look it up. Although, I never bitched about that.

If you mean 'it was designed to be invisable to radar' than yes, it doesn't serve that purpose if it gets wet, I didn't accuse you of bitching about it.

You really need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh. Didn't you say you're Maori? He thinks you're a nigger anyways.

That didn't make sence anyway I read it.

Again, I'd like to see you back that up. Regardless, that was then, this is now. Al-Qaida is not the USSR. What does Germany have to do with this?

I'm saying Kerry wouldn't have come down on communist Russia or Nazi Germany and they would still be super powers.

Josh_Martin said:
Again, change your radio station. Rush still thinks you're a mudbaby.

Also, I don't know what cave you were living in in 1992 but a huge deal was made about Clinton going to Oxford during Viet Nam.

I don't ever remember any of that.

Look it up.

You can take for granted the fact that I'm not an uninformed Kerry hater. Saddam absolutely hated Osama and I never claimed Iraq had anything to do with 911 but to argue that Iraq wasn't a terrorist Arboring nation is nonsence. If Iraq wasn't invaded than I would bet money that by this time, they would have had nuclear weapons. Victor Davis Hanson and even leftist Bush-slanderers like Howard Dean agree.

You speak uninformity and than go and slander the Maori culture, I legitimately question your knowlage base. You can't rebute without taking personal shots. It's not like I'm accusing you of wearing a tiedie shirt on the whitehouse lawn waving a 'no blood for oil sign' I don't call you rediculous things like a stupid tree-fucking hippie and I'm not making fun of your save the whales campaign.

"In a country of almost 300 million people, liberals get seven men to issue an opinion from the Supreme Court and they want the rest of us to shut up about abortion forever. But before going to war to eliminate a potential nuclear threat, we need to convince every last American that it was necessary."

Hey I can't blame him. I hate Kerry, too. I tell kids everyday to hate Kerry. He has a position for everybody on everything. Another worthless dirtbag. He'll say anything to anybody just to get elected, the man has no real position on anything. I have a great audio clip that everyone should hear. I almost shit my pants.

this is the best quote of this whole thread that I started and then didn't read until now.
