I always wanted a fretboard inlaid with the primer end of a bullet , getting larger until the 12th, where, in m.o.p or abalone, it says...the next fret is the evil fret.

i agree about the dot inlays but then again what can you put that would complement the body and not take away from the overall design.

just look at a Parker Fly...ugly fucking guitars. But good sound.

SG's are not only beautiful body shapes, but the tone and playability is OUTSTANDING if you get a good one. The Double cut away makes high fingerings so accessible.

My guitar has pick up "slides" instead of a toggle, and two p90s instead of humbucked single coils. The tone is phenomenal. The bridge is an "ashtray" style reminiscent of some Rickenbacker basses and some Telecasters I've seen. Standard Tune-O-Matic saddles (nylon), rosewood neck (glue on).

It's go room for improvement but it's one of the best guitars I've ever played. Needs to be re set-up like a motherfucker, though.

Gibsons definitely not metal guitars. You have to admit that's fucking retarded.

i can't make out the two head stocks on the top but the design is obvious enough. gibson in the old days was a metal guitar. seems to be popular with metalcore these days though.

I would say les pauls are metal guitars, maybe not all Gibsons....but lps and v's for sure.
