Well, after 3 years of being with Raising Kubrick, our drummer and friend Pete has decided to part ways with us. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. We have also announced our new drummer, our close friend, Moe.

We played our first show with him yesterday at Red Zone in Queens to an awesome crowd who went pretty nuts. It was a great way to break him in, and he did an awesome job. However, because of this sudden lineup change, we are going to have to be taking a break to work with Moe to get him all up to speed. So we are going to have to drop off of this Saturday's show at Zachary's in Woonsocket. But we'll be back in action the following Thursday in Arlington where us, The Taste of Silver, and Ascendancy tear it up with PsyOpus. Come to the show and say hi to the new guy.

i'm going to chain my drummer to his kit at practice tomorrow night and bring him fresh food and water every morning and check on him every once in a while to make sure he is alive and practicing his fills.

What's a lepricorn???

What is it with drummers?? If anyone wants my husband, you can have him. It'll only cost you a plane ticket.

Good luck with the new drummer. RK rules all. If anyone doesn't have the new cd yet, they need to buy it immediately.

Raising Kubrick with out Pete is like sex with out the pussy, no fun and no good. May Pete find greener pastures and may RK work hard to be be as good as they were with him. Good luck. Ha

toggletoggle post by kellthevalkyrie  at Oct 18,2004 2:34pm
How do you know? You haven't heard RK without Pete yet. No one has, except for RK, during practice. Have you ever heard Moe? He is a pretty good drummer. Who are you anyway?

What the hell? Pete quit the band, they didn't kick him out. So don't act like they made a mistake.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Oct 18,2004 2:39pm
Worst band I ever heard, with out pete they'll even be worse. Go PETE

toggletoggle post by kellthevalkyrie  at Oct 18,2004 2:45pm
That's fine that you feel that way. You are entitled to your own opinion. Too bad you feel like judging people and you have to post anonymously. I don't respect peoples' opinions when they insult people, don't back it us with any intellegant comment, and won't even say who they are.

Go Pete is right. I'm sure he made the decison to leave the band to develop other aspects of his musical career. He will do fine in whatever he chooses to do because he is very talented.

Raising Kubrick will also do fine, because the drummer who is replacing Pete is also a very fine musician, and so are the kids already in RK.

So you are saying the only bands you ever heard are Raising Kubrick and King Diamond, obviously making RK the worst band you ever heard.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Oct 18,2004 2:47pm
you are a gay.
shut up or grow some nuts, hider.

well im sorry that people feel this way, but yes pete did quit, no kicking out at all. pete very much dropped out on us at the last minute possible, less than one day before we were to play new york. even though he went through such the unprofessional decision of leaving us with so many shows to play without a drummer, we still wish him the best luck possible in his future endeavors. if you think we sucked always, ok. i cant fight with you there. but if you think were no good without pete, youre wrong there. moe is a fantastic and extremely professional drummer, his blasts are just as fast, and he can nail the songs just as well as pete can. so quit your whining until you see us this thursday with psyopus, jackasses.

toggletoggle post by Aegathis nli at Oct 18,2004 7:03pm
Is he really joining the military?

toggletoggle post by Blue  at Oct 18,2004 7:14pm
no.

toggletoggle post by IanStu at Oct 18,2004 7:30pm
