the show started off way late. it took FOREVER for it to start. but once it started it started. the justive theory played a good set, their music is good for a beginning band. they seem to work well together. then the enclitic went on next. they were good, it only took a few minutes for them to set up and they definitely seemed enthused about playing, almost too excited. their set was way too short though, it only seemed like they played 2 songs but i guess they said it was more than that. when they were finished they failed to announce it so no one knew what to do really but they started to pack up and we clapped. the rest of the show was great too.
yeah, I heard kensington rocked. Heard that it was an awesome turn out there too.
the:enclitic was a little off that night. Very mellow, like some one died or (in the words of closer than kin) "they got a bad case of the girlfriends". the:enclitic was on point tonight though (the anti-4:20 show at exit23). Backstabbers was amazing (as usual). Closer than Kin announced that they will be touring Canada and that they will be releasing a CD on an actual label. CTK played a couple new songs, the second to last being one of the best tracks from them I've ever heard. To bring their set home, they also played a cover of a Misfits song.
There weren't many people at the show. I'm guessing there were a lot of the "normal crowd" at the kensington show instead.
