I remember when my troop went there it was all booked up so we had to stay in tents at some gay campsite in Rhode Island in early March

what an odd crowd.. you got the mass kids for STF, some FSU for terror, metalhead for BSM, tight-pants for RN, and then everyone (including slipknot fans) for unearth. because of that, the place was pretty damn packed from the start of the night til the end.

since the flood: yeah! with these rock stars always off and touring, it seems like I haven't seem them in forever. they played a new song which is cool cause they have been on tour so much. chuck as usual, spent most of his time in the crowd (at one point I saw him pop matt a few times).

remembering never: basically, all of In Dire Need was in the audience (since they toured with RN). they played a bunch of older songs which I was happy about. I really like the new cd, but I wasn't to crazy about the one just before that. at one point, I was almost blown out by the cleans vocals in front of one of the speakers. I think they had them up a little too high.

the black dahlia murder: another band that's been touring non-stop since last year. they played a new song too! I remember in a previous review, I worried when they would have time to get some new songs written. finally, a new song. besides that they played an awesome set, ending in a reach back to the passed with the blackest incantation. I swear one day they will all even up living in mass.

terror: another band with another new song! lots of kids crowd surfing and having fun. just when I thought "we're at the palladium, of course there will be no head walking" bang! someone runs across the from of the crowd. people kept getting on stage and jumping over the bouncers heads. they played a bunch of tracks off the new trustkill release, but finished with push it away off the last cd on deathwish. awesome stuff. though I bet STF wishes they ended with Watching You Die.

unearth: if you were wondering who was on stage right as unearth start being drunk and running around, that was arrik (csdo's drummer). they played their typical set post-new cd. Did I miss the great dividers? that's sort of the single off the cd, and I didn't hear it. yeah, it was basically the same antics. you can look back in my pictures (back to 2000) and see. it's fun stuff and they just fuck around. mike justin's jump must have been wicked dramatic from on the floor. it looks like a high jump from my picture...

it was a fun show!

missed the show last night. i was fortunate enough to party with bdm in natick at al's. i was shocked to learn that there is a band called fall river. i gave em the old "my mudda is from der". plus i was in my latex makeup, direct from fall river. anyways, good times good times. i heard there was over 1,000 people there. i woulda gone cause i kinda like terror.

i think the real highlight oof the night was that aaron got closer to his goal of a nude picture of me.

damn if i knew those bastards were going back to Natick, i would have asked them for a ride home. Ha
