The dates have been announced for MEGADETH's "The System Has Failed" fall tour 2004. Venue information will follow soon. Support at all dates is expected to come from the Los Angeles-based quintet EARSHOT and an as-yet-unannounced third act.

The new megadeth is pretty good. At least, compared to the last several albums. Chris Poland played a shitload of the guitar solos (the guitar player on Peace Sells Who's Buying), and there's a lot more old style thrash riffs on this album.

Unfortunately, Dave is getting older and his style has changed over time. I doubt there will ever be another R.I.P. He's delved into more melodic singing, and some more mellow arrangements.

The new Megadeth is pretty damn good, real catchy... hopefully they hit up somewhere upstate NY eventually.
