His strings sucked. His guitars sucked. His company was in Fender's pocket. Stingray basses aint bad though.

but shitty strings.

Univox
Gibson SGs
Gibson Nighthawks
some other guitars here and there


everything else I play sounds like shit, feels like shit, and is a huge fucking waste of money.

much of the music industry tries to sell fucking crap.

the only strings i really like are D'Addario. Plus they are affordable.

i prefer d'addario josh. i recently ordered Fodera bass strings and then next time i change my strings, i'm tryin those out. ive heard good things about them though.

i like DR strings best

Hate D'addarios too. I'm picky about strings. I only use blue steel 12s. For bass strings I use stainless steel Curens wich haveto be imported from germany. Both blue steel and Curens are frozen in liquid nitrogen and are strong enough to hang a 300 lb man with. I've only broken one blue steel in my entire life, I've never broken a Curen but I have cut my finger almost down to the bone on them many times. Music man's high end basses are nice for boltons, thier guitars suck though. the only thing that really makes the stingray bass good in the first place is thier pickups and import factory setups. still can't compare to Warwick Meciiis though.

d'addario 11's here, but i just tried ghs boomers again and theyre ok. Ive always hated them tho.

I use 9s, either Ernie Ball or D'addario, usually D'addario though.
